Good location

Images are not reflective of current property status. Deck broken and dangerous, reeks of cigaret smoke, kitchen filthy and unusable, couches were filthy, would not waste money staying there

1st, 2nd and 3rd time in Bali

This was my first time in Bali. My eldest daughter's 2nd time. And my middle daughter's 3rd. We all went with our partners for a family holiday, preferring a private villa to relax in. There was nothing more the staff could do for us - they made us individual breakfasts, organised massages, refilled bottled water, made up our rooms each day, turned on internal and external lights and air cons before we returned from a day trip, had the pool ready for a swim by sunrise, had the yard swept of fallen leaves and frangipanis from the night before, let us know our driver had arrived, fed the koi in the villa's private water feature... and waited so patiently in the staff room adjoining the villa, all day, every day, to jump to our every need. We weren't expecting a cook, housekeeper, or gardener... but when you consider there are 5 massive ensuited bedrooms and our extended family staying for two weeks, the staff really made our time away from home, homely. The location, right on the beach with a private gate onto the volcanic black sand, is exactly what we hoped for. With resorts and restaurants ranging from 40m to 200m walk along the beach, we were spoilt for choice for lunches and dinners. The surfboard hire and surf school kept us busy on good swell days. The local drivers entertained us with their driving skills to Ubud, Kuta, Sanur harbour (to Nusa Penida and Gilli T), Mount Agung, Dempasar and Pedang Pedang...

Very spacious villa. Master bedroom is huge with bath overlooking the ocean. All rooms are big with nice bathrooms and comfy beds. Plenty of space to hang out downstairs. Huge pool either comfy Sun lounges. Staff are very nice and helpful. We asked the Staff to arrange a private chef the night we arrived and dinner was amazing! We all really enjoyed our stay here. A couple of things to note: Desa Swan resort cafe and restaurant are next door. Hard to get anywhere but that is the point. There is a local taxi service (guys are in a cabana just down the road) so grab won’t come to villa. You can either walk to main road for a grab or negotiate with local drivers knowing what a grab would cost. You cannot lie on the beach and there is heaps of rubbish. They clean the beach twice a day and not their fault the currents of Asia meet here and wash a ridiculous amount of rubbish ashore.

Beautiful massive bali villa!

Amazing stay! Massive rooms especially the master bedroom overlooking the pool and beach. Friendly and helpful staff, wonderful massages with a dedicated two tables downstairs. Live like royalty during your Bali stay - would highly recommend!

Changed my good impression of Bali

The location and in-house staff were good.

The worst experience on Bali island and the meanest manager in the world we’ve met. We booked the villa 20 days ago and arrived at the villa at 2am (which we informed the villa). We were put to wait in the middle of the night for 2 hours just because the Kutus Kutus system assigned us to another cheaper villa and SOMEONE ELSE WAS STAYING AT THE VILLA WE BOOKED FOR! We could only be sent to another cheaper Kutus Kutus villa because it was 4 AM in the morning, and we were 6 people, tired, upset and helpless in a foreign country’s night. When we asked the manager for compensation of staying the night for free the next morning, the manager refused us because we already checked in! He doesn’t understand the difference between refund and compensation, and clearly does not think his customers deserves compensation for such a horrible experience. The only thing that he offered us was a free shuttle to the airport (which we didn’t need at all because we booked for other shuttles!) After I said I don’t need free shuttle over the staff’s phone (the manager didn’t even show up), the manager said he offered a compensation but I refused, then hung up on me. Booking service also refused our request because the manager already offered free shuttle and we rejected it, so we can’t get anything for being pushed around and not doing anything wrong. Just because Kutus Kutus says no, as customers we can do NOTHING TO PROTECT OUR RIGHTS. I don’t understand why Kutus Kutus and Booking are giving such a hard time on innocent customers. All I can do is leaving a comment to let other visitors know about this sad story. Plus, no hot water during our stay. We had to ask for a fix.

It was quiet, clean, tidy and spacious. The accomodation was above my expectation, and it was a very great property for any occasion like wedding reception, birthday party, etc. We was stayed to celebrate bachelorette party for our brother and sister and we very very enjoyed it! :) They served us any snack, fresh fruits, beers and coke for free. We also can hire any cars whenever we need it. Love the pool for sure! and we can make a bbq time in the garden. The master room have a bathtub with the ocean and pool view, superb! Highly recommended accomodation. Will surely comeback! :)

La maison est magnifique : les pièces sont spacieuses, luxueuses et confortables, la décoration est soignée, le jardin est superbe ainsi que la piscine et l'accès à la plage est parfait ! Le personnel d'accueil est charmant et une présence (des plus discrètes) est assurée 24 heures sur 24. Il y a une cuisine entièrement équipée pour se préparer les repas et les petits déjeuners, mais nous avons opté pour le restaurant Swan situé en face de l'établissement qui propose un petit déjeuner buffet des plus copieux.
