Criterion Hotel Sydney

The hotel is in a really great spot - surrounded by restaurants, bus stops and train stations. It was really easy to find and the staff were helpful. Our room was quiet and clean.

It was tricky getting to our room with suitcases as there are no stairs, but it didn’t bother us too much. Because the hotel is above a pub, it was quite hard to navigate our way through to the bar to check in and out, but it was expected.

We arrived late staff were very helpful there is no lift but our very heavy bags were carried up to our room for us. Room was clean and comfortable. The location was amazing. Close to the Town Hall Tram, Woolworths and plenty of restaurants and shops. If you enjoy walking its ideal location. I had had abit of a disaster on day of booking out but the boss and staff were so helpful and understanding. Would definitely stay again.

The location was brilliant and the room was clean

There was so many flies in the room. I think they came through the air con. Also the blinds didn’t shut properly and as the hotel was located in central Sydney it was like the light was on all night. The hotel could definitely do with blackout blinds

Good location

Only stairs so had to lug our cases up the stairs on the top floor. Really busy day so couldn’t get into our room till late
