Guest House Ljubo & Ana

We arrived very tired and appreciated the quiet setting to have a good rest. We enjoyed sitting in the garden reading our books, occasionally getting a visit by the ginger cat. Ana was very hospitable, giving us her home grown plums to try. We also sampled her Zlivovich. She gave us information on where to walk from her house to enter the national park and allowed us to leave our car at her property for the day even after check out. We had a nice breakfast where she cooked us fresh omelettes with eggs from the farm next door and we had her homemade plum cake.

Very comfortable, quiet with lovely country view from balcony. Had everything we needed with good WiFi. Good breakfast with home grown and home cooked food. Very friendly and caring hostess.

They serve very nice homely breakfast, very nice host and peaceful well kept place near gate 1 of Plitvice Lakes.

Very close to Plitvice NP, apparently there is a back path to get there quickly but I didn’t know this and we drove. Anyway, 5 min drive. Fantastic view from the balcony which you can sit out on. Room has air con, heating, microwave, kettle, fridge.

We had the studio. The bed was a bit uncomfortable, no blankets or top sheet and the duvets are too hot even in Spring. We kept hitting our heads on slanted ceiling in bathroom, kitchen and bedroom as it is built into the eaves. There are four seats in the lounge area, it would be less cramped with either just the two chairs or just the couch. Bathroom is very small and cramped – hot water was tepid on first day, nearly cold on second – I had to get in and out quickly so couldn’t wash my hair. Shower gel provided but no shampoo. We would not stay here again.
