Great stay at Rose Cottage. Had everything we needed, including a full ice tray! Beds were very comfy. We were very thankful for the fan in this hot weather. The road can be a little busy at times but don’t let that put you off. Lovely location opposite a nice church and train station to Brighton near by. Great little find.

The location was very handy for visiting Brighton and Lewes. We liked being opposite the church and it was very easy to park. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is quite well equipped if you want to self cater.
Unfortunately the property sits between two main roads so it is noisy although fairly quiet at night. There were a couple of minor issues. The tap in the kitchen dripped constantly and we had trouble with adjusting the water temperature of the shower. It was useful to have a small garden attached but it was very unkempt and could be improved.

Location, comfortable, pleasant place
The host could provide better directions. There's a church right opposite the property which can be used as a landmark. We arrived quite late and spent a 45 minutes shuttling back and forth to find the property.
