Peaceful retreat, traditional layout with lovely decorations. Beautiful rooms. You feel at home with Magdalena and her Husband who are great hosts. Great food. Well worth the effort to walk the camino to stay here. Places like this make the camino well worth it.

Not just a place to sleep, a true home away from home. Kindness, delicious food, beyond comfortable accommodations. We didn’t want to leave. For pilgrims on the Camino Frances, you can leave directly from here on the Primitivo to Melide. Can’t recommend it enough.

I can honestly not say enough wonderful things about Magdalena and her beautiful property. Located directly on the Camino Primitivo, but only a few miles away from the Camino Frances. Magdalena picked us up from Palas de Rei since no cabs were available and the drive was only about 10 minutes. The Dinner was like fine dining and absolutely delicious. We opted to walk the Primitivo rather than the Frances the next day to Melide, and what a treat... It made us want to come back and walk the Primitivo in the future. The rooms are beautiful, the property is stunning and the hosts were sweet and provided a relaxed stay after a long day of walking.
We were the only guests the night we stayed and wish we had been able to mingle with other Pilgrims as it was a lovely environment for socializing. Obviously, just a quiet night and nothing against the property at all.

Conveniently located along the Camino, this charming spot was a welcome rest during my journey. The husband and wife duo who run the place were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. Service was excellent throughout my stay. Dinner and breakfast were both tasty and reasonably priced, adding great value. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable which was just what I needed after a long day of walking. Highly recommended for fellow pilgrims looking for a warm, restful stop along the way.
