Casa Blanco

Definitely a treat for us on our Camino. It was peaceful, charming and a welcomed escape from the crowd! The transport to-and-fro by the owners of the property was efficient and a heaven sent! (We got picked up from the town hall after arriving at Palas de Rei, and then delivered to our trail head the next morning by the owner Miguel.) The food was exceptional—the dining experience and the quality of food were excellent, as good as those we had in Madrid and Barcelona! The breakfast was generous and delicious too. Best of all the family was generous, warm and just beautiful, genuinely good people all around.

No complaints to note

Best accomodation along the camino. They pick you up in palas de rei and drop you back. It is like staying with family the hosts are so accommodating and friendly. Rooms gorgeous, clean, superb boutique accomodation. Surroundings in the country fab for the rest for the evening. Foods is superb. Dinner/lunch is provided and breakfast, meals fit for a king/queen they do not ration the servings. Gorgeous stay and my best sleep on camino so far.

Nice older building, which was quirky. Pretty garden to sit in.

I did not enjoy the dinner or breakfast, was very average. One plug socket in twin room meant we couldn’t both charge phones.
