Casa Aldea de Abaixo

The location is quiet but close to town

The staircase is unstable and the varnish needs to be redone

It was a good sized house on two floors with a large kitchen and living area and was clean

It was hard to figure out how to get into the property (no sign and the only photo was of the key box. The property across the road had a small sign with the same name which was very confusing). The key instructions came very late, in fact after the time we had requested to check in. That was very frustrating. The bathroom door didn't open all the way due to an oversized sink, and the hot water ran out during the middle of our first shower! The staircase railing was wobbly and was not good. The kitchen lacked basics like salt.
