It was close to the motorway . The welcome from the owner was wonderful . The meal was superb with lots of wine and beer. She welcomed our dogs

The twin room was a little on the small size

Sadly we did not get to stay here …the owner phoned us to say that the business had been closed for a few months & that our payment would be refunded . Thankfully it gave us a few days to find & book another property on our travels . We would love to have stayed here ….perhaps Booking.com should have removed the property from the listings ?

Good location. Nice lady on the desk and pleasant owner at dinner.

The room we had was very outdated with a shiny gold satin bedcover and frilly cushions. Nothing like the clean lines of the photos. The hotel looked as if maybe it was under new ownership. Madame was very pleasant but it was all let down by the lack of any design. We had an evening meal which was quite nice and good value but the dinng room table cloths were all different and all covered in clear plastic, nursery school style. There seemed to be rather a lot of artificial flowers about giving a very old atmosphere. Breakfast was very basic just a few slices of bread and croissant with jam and butter just looked so different from the photos. Having said that it has marvellous potential.
