Casa del Sol

We had a wonderful five-night stay at Casa del Sol, and we would especially like to thank our host, Gaetano, for making our holiday so enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, Gaetano was an exceptional host. He waited for us to arrive, personally welcomed us, handed over the keys. Throughout our stay, he checked in with us several times to make sure everything was going well and reminded us that we could contact him at any time if we needed assistance. He was always available, kind, and genuinely caring. His hospitality continued until the very end of our trip. Since our flight was late in the day, he kindly allowed us to check out at 1:30 p.m. and leave our luggage in the apartment, which made our final day so much more relaxed and enjoyable. The apartment itself was exceptionally comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the olive oil and spices that were available for guests to use. The lovely terrace was perfect for relaxing, and the air conditioning kept the apartment cool and comfortable throughout our stay. Casa del Sol is also in a fantastic location. Aci Reale is a beautiful Baroque town with plenty of charm, and it is an excellent base for exploring eastern Sicily. We easily visited Mount Etna, the Alcantara Gorges, Taormina, Syracuse, and many other wonderful places during our holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Casa del Sol to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming place to stay with an outstanding host. The only minor drawback was that Aci Reale has many churches, so the church bells ring frequently throughout the day. It took us a little while to get used to them, but after a while they became part of the city’s character and certainly did not take away from our overall experience.

Ottima struttura dotata di ogni confort con doppi servizi! Ottimo anche per due coppie…noi eravamo in due amici e ognuno ha avuto la propria privacy!

Pochi parcheggi

Super appartement, ruim, schoon, compleet ingericht.

Parkeren is wat lastig, niet met te grote auto er komen. Helaas geen strand. Lopen naar beneden naar zee met stenen strand is niet te doen.
