La Casa del Gelsomino Palace

My stay at La Casa Del Gelsomino Palace was outstanding; in fact, I’ll say it was exceptional in every way. This applies with respect to both the generous and well-appointed accommodations, but more importantly to the availability and hospitality of the host, Salvatore. If I could leave a rating of ten stars for him, I would. He made himself available and offered very helpful information to help me prepare for the trip starting from the time of the booking. The apartment itself has got to be at least ~300 meters squared (please check the listing for exact dimensions) — the point is that it felt massive and was very well maintained and organized! I was by myself, but this very large apartment could easily accommodate two couples or a group of four close friends. To boot, there’s an absolutely massive private terrance on the back side of the apartment. Portions are well covered to provide some relief from the intense Sicilian sun. Additionally, the space features very good division, as to provide separate spaces to relax or find a bit or privacy. Both baths are well-appointed with new and well functioning fixtures, one even boasting a bidet and towel warmer. The washing machine, located in the kitchen, is efficient and quiet. The location could not be more perfect, well-situated, or more central. It is located on the main boulevard of the town and provides more than ample commerce as well as a direct route north to the gorgeous city park overlooking the Ionia Sea, and south to the Cattedrale/Duomo & Collegiata! Local provisions from small purveyors dominate the vicinity where you can get everything from delicious produce; cured meats and cheeses; of course; locally caught fish & seafood; as well as ceramics, jewelry, and the typical Sicilian non-alcoholic “cocktails” from the Chiosco’s — a specialty that dates back to the 19th century and helps to revive one’s constitution by providing hydration and minerals!

The property was impeccably maintained, well appointed, and centrally located to major attraction and also provided very access to the coastal road (SS 1114) as well as the autostrada! It could not be better located to see all the major landmarks of beautiful Acireale.

La struttura è in ottima posizione . Fornita di tutto il necessario e di più. Ideale per famiglia come la nostra . Pulitissima. Abbiamo avuto un problema con lo scaldabagno e il proprietario è intervenuto subito anche se era sabato sera. Siamo stati bene e lo staff è gentilissimo e molto disponibile . Lo consiglio vivamente
