It was unique
Different than what I expected. It was a bread and breakfast and a lot older than I thought.

The originality of the place.

The close proximity to the City, the fact it has one of Kampala's better restaurants as part of the complex is a bonus, there is also an upstairs roof bar, which I never visited, as a private party seemingly occupied it. My room No 123 was quiet apart from the neighboring room sitting outside chatting, but not loud enough to disturb.
Two items of maintenance needed repairing in the room, the main bathroom light and the DSTV connection into the DSTV Box, needs some TLC.

The location and restaurant vibe
Really limited parking space for hotel guests that are not comfortable parking by the roadside, the lighting of the room and entire interior was on the darker side, low to no natural aeration in the room. While the location is great, it’s also in a busy part of town that makes for a not so quiet stay. The same goes for the popular hotel restaurant that gets busy through the night.
