The owner has optimised a feeling of space through using sliding mirror-doors every where in the property. The simple furnishings are very functional, and we very much enjoyed the use of the terrace, and retreating to its quiet at night. Ostuni itself is a truly spectacular old town: in parts very touristic, but with wonderful oil and wine-tasing possibilities, as well as craft shops etc..
The kitchen space is rather tight, so you need to organise yourself well. You definitely need beach/swimming shoes to enjoy the sea: this is a beach for sunbathers and swimmers, not children.
