Villa with private garden, just a few steps from the clear sea of the Ostuni coast.
Blue Sea Villa Maestrale is located within the Villaggio Mare Blu 2, in the centre of the Ostuni coast and equipped with many services that guests can access, upon payment of an entrance fee, such as a shared swimming pool, tennis and five-a-side football court, and amphitheatre. The villas, independent and newly built, are surrounded by a garden and veranda with everything needed to relax, including a barbecue. Inside there is a very bright living room equipped with TV, dining table and comfortable sofa bed for two people, whilst in a separate area there is a fully equipped kitchen. The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms: one with a double bed and en suite bathroom with shower, and the other equipped with two single beds. It also has a second bathroom with shower, laundry room and external shower.

Villaggio Mare Blu in Villanova offers direct access to the clear Apulian sea, from Diana Marina beaches to Monticelli, from Rosa Marina to Villanova Tourist Port, a historic fishing village now a preferred destination for numerous travellers. A few kilometres away is Ostuni, known worldwide as the White City, the pearl of the Valle d'Itria. Its historic centre, of a blinding white, immense, culminates with the Cathedral that impetuously dominates the plain of olive trees, the coastal dune park and a clear and crystalline sea. Characteristic are its alleyways, Piazza della Libertà and the column of S. Oronzo that majestically protects the town.
Its countryside extends into the heart of the Valle d'Itria. A few km away is Ceglie Messapica, centre of tradition and food and wine culture, Cisternino, a village recognised among the most beautiful in Italy, Alberobello whose famous trulli have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996. About 30 km to the north we find the Archaeological Park of Egnazia, Monopoli and Polignano a Mare, ancient fishing towns with evocative historic centres and beautiful beaches. To the north (80 km) we find Bari, the gateway to the Orient, whilst heading south we encounter first the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, then Brindisi to reach Lecce, capital of the Baroque. Moving towards the West there is Taranto, heart of Magna Graecia and finally Matera, characteristic for its Sassi and European Capital of Culture 2019.
The nearest airports are Brindisi (30 minutes) and Bari (60 minutes).

Das Ferienhaus ist Teil einer grossen neugebauten Siedlung mit ähnlichen Häusern. Das Haus selbst ist sehr schön, gut isoliert (Klimaanlage wurde nicht eingeschaltet trotz Hitze draussen..) und gut ausgerüstet - wie im Inserat angegeben. Es gibt eine Waschküche mit Waschmaschine, zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder - die Unterkunft war also in jeder Hinsicht "schön".
Leider hatten wir Pech mit "dem Pool" - das Haus war ja als Villa maestrale mit Pool angeboten und der Poolk war für uns ein Entscheidungskriterium für die Entscheidung zu dieser Einrichtung. (Angebot ist -vermutlich nach meinem Telephonat- mittlerweile so nicht mehr abrufbar). Der Pool gehört aber gar nicht zum "Feriendorf", sondern ist eine eigenständige Einrichtung - nach Verlassen des Dorfes am Pförtner vorbei über die Landstrasse direkt nebenan erreichbar und mit Mauer abgegrenzt ("Schwimmbad, Restaurant und Club..") und wurde erst ab dem 10.6. geöffnet; wir waren vom 30.5.-16.6. angemeldet.. Die vermietende Gesellschaft "Wonderful Italy" sagte uns, das wäre so im Angebot beschrieben worden, was nicht ganz zutrifft: Dort stand "Eröffnung des Schwimmbades Anfang Juni"..

De inventaris bestaat uit Ikea materialen inclusief de bedden. Deze zijn van matige kwaliteit.
Ondanks aanwezigheid van wasmachine vinden wij de wisseling van de handdoeken 1x per week te weinig. Het adres zoals opgegeven door de agent is niet correct. Zoek op google naar Blue Sea Villa, dan kom je er wel...Houdt er rekening mee dat de portier geen engels spreekt. Hij kent alleen Blu Mare en geen Blue Sea Villa:). Villanova is een zeer rustige omgeving. Indien je meer afleiding zoekt ga dan naar Ostuni ongeveer 8 km verderop.
