Apartments Ohrid Lake

Great hosts, both the lady living in the next building and the owner. Very helpful, responded quickly, nice and pleasant. They let us keep the luggage and use wifi after checking out. The place was clean, quiet, comfy, equipped with everything you might need on holidays.

The hosts were very nice. Location was excellent. Room was clean and well equipped.

Good location. Excellent furniture, all was new. Hot water is always ready and plentiful. There is a table so one can work with laptop, not super common in Macedonia short term rentals. Pictures matched reality. Very quiet area but close to the lake and old town. Lots of nice places like Plate Bistro on the main street below this place.

One can only pay with cash. The owner was always away and I did not have a way to pay him. When last day came and I left he was in Greece after ignoring my calls from the day before. Very irresponsible. Typical FYROM behaviour. In the end I had to "hunt" for his father, the grandpa, to find someone to pay to. In normal countries, lenders hunt debtors, only in Macedonia we are so rich that lenders forget that money is owned and go to Greece. Note for foreigners: The chaos, it is part of the experience of being in Macedonia :)
