Good room in a decent location, cash only payment

Good location. Excellent furniture, all was new. Hot water is always ready and plentiful. There is a table so one can work with laptop, not super common in Macedonia short term rentals. Pictures matched reality. Very quiet area but close to the lake and old town. Lots of nice places like Plate Bistro on the main street below this place.

One can only pay with cash. The owner was always away and I did not have a way to pay him. When last day came and I left he was in Greece after ignoring my calls from the day before. Very irresponsible. Typical FYROM behaviour. In the end I had to "hunt" for his father, the grandpa, to find someone to pay to. In normal countries, lenders hunt debtors, only in Macedonia we are so rich that lenders forget that money is owned and go to Greece. Note for foreigners: The chaos, it is part of the experience of being in Macedonia :)

No windows in the sleeping area

The location.

The "apartment" - it is not apartment, it's an empty store/shop, on the ground floor, below the actual apartments, which means there were NO windows in the sleping area, so if you want some fresh air during the night, you need to open the front door but you can't leave it opet, with the busy street just 2 steps away from you. Also, it doesn't look anything like the one of the photos, particularly the one with the room with a window, a curtain and nice walls and chandelier. That is not a photo of this "apartment", as there wasn't any of that. So, you are mislead, thinking that you are paying for an actual apartment and not for the shop/store space. And it is non-refundable.

I would gladly stay in this place again.

Location was very easy to find. There were parking spots right in front of the building. Host was very friendly. The building/apartment was very quiet and most of the things were enough for a stay. The lake is in walking distance. If I ever visit Ohrid again I'll stay in this place.

There were a few things that dont require to be mentioned. I mostly care about the cleanliness of the floors in whereever I stay since I dont use my shoes inside the apartment and walk inside with my socks on.

The location is excelent! It is right at the center of Ohrid! You can easily find the apartments as they have pins on the both houses on google maps, also the owner was very polite to wait for us in front of the house and welcome us, he is always reachable if you need anything. The apartments are very modern, new, clean, with very nice kitchen with fridge, utensils for eating and cooking, spounge, soap, clean towels, clean sheets, comfortable beds. The bathroom was clean and modern, with hair dryer and shampoos. The apartments has a nice terrase with comfortable chairs and a table, also there is an air conditioner. There is a free coffee machine for the guest at the backyard, which is really nice with palmtrees and nice plants. There is a private parking in front of the house, so we had no trouble finding one. The owners are really kind and there for you if you need anything. Highly recomend!

The apartment is only 5 minutes walk from the center of the town. The rooms are small but everything you need is there. They even have a small courtyard where you can sit in the morning and take a coffee for free from a machine.

Such a lovely stay and caring owners, highly recommend

Everything! We had an amazing one month stay here! The apartments are small and cozy, with modern appliances and the owners clearly thought of every little detail needed to even live here long term if you wanted to. We especially loved the electric stove, definitely the best we’ve ever used. The beds are comfy, water is hot, and you also have access to a clothes washer and dryer (at extra cost) if ever needed. The wifi speed was excellent (individual routers on each floor), which was very important to us. Very close to town and kind owners. Great and instant communication with them at all times. Can’t say enough good things about this place and I highly recommend staying here if you come to Ohrid :) thanks Mladen!

New little apartment

You have parking in front of the apartment and you go to center or promenade by foot (5 minutes). There is coffee machine in a shared balcony. Room is little but cosy for a couple, we had everything we needed.
