Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel

I had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton in Dubrovnik. The rooms are impressively large, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable — a perfect place to relax after exploring the city. The hotel also offers excellent facilities, which made the stay even more enjoyable and convenient. From the moment I arrived, everything felt well taken care of, and the overall atmosphere was both welcoming and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dubrovnik who is looking for comfort, space, and great amenities.

The only thing that spoils the vibe at this hotel is the staff are hit and miss, while most are welcoming and friendly there are a few that are just downright rude.

Everything was perfect! All the staff from front desk, valet to house keeping and restarting were extremely kind, nice, friendly and made us feel great. We will definitely come back!

The room was very spacious and clean - great bed and the view from our sea view balcony was great. The sauna and relaxation area was really top notch, a great way to end the day once the pool has closed. Proximity to Dubrovnik also good, you can take a quick taxi or even a water taxi which is a fun experience.

I felt like the hotel did just enough, but didn't try to exceed expectations. The staff (minus the cleaning staff, and the breakfast and restaurant staff) weren't overly welcoming and were rude at times. I wouldn't have minded for a 4* hotel, but for 5* you expect people to go above and beyond for you. This has also been noted by other reviewers and we also experienced this, our luggage was not taken up to the room we were left to our own devices to carry up our own suitcases and find our room (again, no big deal...but this is a 5* hotel). There wasn't any assistance by the pool, if you want to stay in the shade, you have to move the heavy concrete parasols yourself which can be very difficult. On one day, some fellow guests had asked for an additional parasol as they had no shade where they were staying - this was not brought over. Overall, there were many 'little' issues like this, which made us feel that the service just wasn't where it should be for a 5* hotel and the premium price you pay.

The hotel is in an amazing place with great views. Also the hotel is very clean and well maintained.

Unfortunately at around 3pm the local school children invade the beach area and cause havoc. I think someone should patrol the beach area as the children throw balls around and it’s very unsafe.

Not many staff noted at the pool area therefore people were holding beds that were not being used and there was nobody to help move the heavy umbrellas

The room was so spacious and extremely comfortable. The pool and beachside were amazing. Breakfast spread was extensive and staff were very helpful. It’s about 15-20mins away from the town centre but I preferred being away from the crowds after a day of exploring the old town. It was very easy to get an uber too.

The staff was very nice and helpfull . The hotel is very simple so it was easy to find all we need . Also the location is excelent , near the sea , not far away from old city of Dubrovnik .

There are several things, so let's start off with the multi-national staff that likes to chit chat, be it in Croatian or in English, and you feel welcomed. After that we have the restaurant, that serves an amazing breakfast and an even better evening buffet, I would even say that it's one of the best evening buffets I saw so far. Room service is top notch and they will go out of their way to get you whatever you need. Underground parking is also a must for me personally, and they deliver on that front as well. Last, but not least, is the location. You can easily spend a week at this property and still find out new things, within or around it. If you plan to book, then book for a couple of days, it's definitely worth it.

Smaller things. Some of the staff were quite young and inexperienced with wines and additional requests, slapping a "trainee" badge next to their name would be enough for me not to care about it. Additionally, if your room is within the center of the establishment, you will be hearing some action from outside (pool/restaurant terrace) and from the inside (reception/restaurant echo). I would recommend installing some echo blockers in the center of the establishment, so that it doesn't reach the rooms. Other than that, a shoe horn next to the door would be lovely, and talk with your cleaning team and see if you can upgrade the towels, the current one that you have are of low quality and don't absorb well, there are new technologies, waffle structures and similar currently trending within the industry.

Large underground parking, nice location near a bay with seaview, excellent design, amazing breakfast - want to mention the young lady at the egg station, she always had a smile on her face and made eggcellent omelettes 😁

Non-intuitive panels for lighting, airco etcetera. Also, one panel repeatedly all by itself switched to SOS mode - which also lighted up a SOS led next to the outside of our door. Interestingly, that seemed to be ignored by all and sundry …

Beautiful location and short water taxi journey to Dubrovnik.

Spotlessly clean. Easy to navigate with limited mobility. Great amenities. Nice access to both pool and beach.

Would be nice if the half board included a voucher to use at one of the restaurants instead of the buffet every night.

About 13km away from old town and close to a mall. Clean and well-equipment as you wish. My daughter loves the swimming pool, though its a little cold in September morning. Remember to visit the swing on the beach!

- unsatisfactory waiter service at the pool area; - gym could be extended with a few more machines (bench press and lat machine, and also dumbbells); - the in-room coffee was not a Nespresso, but a substitute and it was not reloaded daily; - we were charged for the in-room water;

The property was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The room was spacious and we enjoyed our stay.

The staff were LOVELY, the facilities a real treat and the private beach was just the icing on the cake. They also put some cake in the room for my birthday which I never had expected.
