Great location. Staff very friendly. Pool area nice to relax and good food by the pool. Dinner was also nice with many good choices.
Breakfast was very basic, extremely limited offering and a bit stingy. We asked to get extra fruit and were told that it was not possible. No bread. No jam, no cheese. Just 3 poor breakfast options. Not what we expect to get at a hotel of this type. The counter of the sink in the bathroom in our room was very small and not place to put anything (problematic for a room of 4 persons)

Hotel has a great pool, really good standard rooms. Staff are amazing and helpful. Good spa. Restaurant is good, albeit more expensive than others in the area. Footpool, board games and pool are useful to keep you entertained if the rain comes.
We had a slight problem, where the previous guest had smoked in the room. But the hotel staff took action to resolve the issue.
Some other hotels in the area have much better views of the coastline; however ecotica has much more space and a great pool.
However there are a lot of stairs.
