Stay away from this hotel

Nothing. in the pictures one might think that we are coming to a castle but this is not the case. The rooms are in a very poor location-probably use to be the stable for the horse. There was a very bad smell in the rooms of poop that came from a neglected dog down the window-his place was full of poop of at least weeks which no body bother to clean. The dog was also very angry and barked constantly(which is understandable if no body cleans his place and he needs to eat and poop in the same place)-and it was beneath the window of the room so the room had a very bad smell.

I did not like anything. Besides the fact that the rooms were stink the hosts was very unpleasant and aggresive. We left the hotel and went to another hotel so bad it was.

Nice clean ream, good location, friendly staff

The room is quite small but very tidy, the bed is comfortable. Good breakfast, the lady working in the morning was very nice, overall it was a very pleasant one night stay. Too bad we didn’t have time to more explore the surroundings because in general it is very beautiful around.

Perfect for a stop over. Pet friendly and close to the motorway.

Breakfast was great, especially the fresh croissants. Location is next to a beautiful park. Room was comfortable

Outstanding value for money

A beautiful location, very clean with very friendly staff. The rooms were nice and clean and the view from the rooms are either the Chateau or the horse yard and both are great. Only had breakfast on the first morning (we set off for work early) and the bread was fresh and warm with excellent continental breakfast. The coffee was fantastic and had to have 4 mugs. Made work a lot easier! Thank you.

Noisy and unwelcoming...

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The adjacent chateau and arboretum was beautiful and lovely to walk around. The beer was great.

Staff were not very welcoming. There were dogs that lived on the premises that did not stop barking and howling, it was so loud you could hear it in your room with the windows closed. We were made to feel really unwelcome when we tried to have a beer in the bar, the hosts were all sitting in the brasserie and jumped up to leave when we came in. We did not mind at all that two of them were eating but they made us feel as though we had made them leave and the guy who moved behind the bar was looking at us as though we were awful for wanting a beer. There was tea and coffee in the room but no kettle, and no kettle to be found anywhere by the rooms. Also, not the hotel's fault, but the bell in the church next door rang in the very early hours and set the dogs off. This was not a peaceful place!

Interesting small hotel in a lovely setting- with some local animals.

Friendly small hotel with well - equipped rooms at a good price. The service is personal and very good. The breakfast was generous and I enjoyed the freshly cooked scrambled eggs.

I have stayed here many times- there will always be noises of church bells,Cockerels and other animals!

Impressive place

Castle with beautifoul park and little zoo next to the hotel. When you wake up you can observe horses from your window. Very clean room, nice personel. Worth to stay here.

The room was nice but don't open the windows use the fan. The restaurant over the road was lovely.

Didn't realise it was next to an equestrian centre. The amount of flies were horrendous, we went for a beer but quickly moved to a restaurant over the road as the flies were nonstop buzzing around you. Ordered a breakfast but didn't eat it as flies all over the food

Mooie omgeving naast een kasteel. Leuk dat er een paardenstal was.

Helaas gaf de aanwezigheid van de paarden veel vliegen op de kamer. Geen hor aanwezig, dus kwamen ze graag binnen. Met de ramen dicht werd het erg warm in de kamer.

On n'a pas bien dormi. Il faisait trop chaud dans la chambre, et la lumière plus le bruit des chevaux nous ont reveillé dès tôt le matin. Les rideaux ne sont pas ocultants et une fenêtre ne marchait pas.

Te duur voor het middelmatige verblijf.

Micheline was heel vriendelijk en het park waarin het hotel ligt is geweldig.

De verhouding prijs-kwaliteit is niet ok. Als ik zo veel betaal verwacht ik niet dat ik de hele avond lawaai zal hebben van een café vlak onder het raam (dat wel open moet staan anders is het snikheet en komt de geur van oude sigaretten naar boven.). Eenmaal het 22u is, is het terras stil maar dan hoor je heel goed de buren door de dunne muurtjes en de blaffende hond van de aanpalende manège. Vanaf 7u 's morgens is er ook weer veel hond-, manège- en ganglawaai (het ontbijt wordt op de gang geserveerd, letterlijk op 2 meter van de kamerdeur). Dit zijn allemaal dingen waar ik voor gesetteld zou hebben als het goedkoop was geweest, maar dat was het niet helaas.

Juste efficace pour un mariage à la salle d' à côté

L emplacement a côté de la salle de mariage Propre

Aucune insonorisation, pas de climatisation, pas d intimité car la salle de petit déjeuner est littéralement dans le couloir devant la porte de la chambre. Pas de moustiquaires alors qu on dort au dessus de chevaux... Mouches, moustiques et taon bonjour. Douche petite et la douchette était cassée.

- lekkende kraan van de douche na dichtdraaien, verstoord de nachtrust - kerkklok die om het half uur luidt tot in vroege de morgen - verstoord de nachtrust - s' avonds tot 11.30 u blaffende honden van de buren, rond middernacht stopt het blaffen. - bij aankomst rond 16.30 u aan het hotel geen vrije parking wegens bezetting auto's van domeinbezoekers die de kinderen komen ophalen, pas na 18u komt de parking stilaan terug vrij en kan er geparkeerd worden door de gasten.

Het was oké

Fantastisch bed, fijne douche en schone kamer.

Extreem sober hotel, gelegen naast/aan een manege.. Daardoor buiten veel insecten. Hotel ligt 25 meter van de plaatstijke kerk, dus elk half uur en heel uur luidden de klokken.
