gorgeous location for real relax

The house is most probably an old barn that belongs to the adjacent castle (owned by the parents of the host), but rooms are nicely decorated and spacious, clean. The property has excellent location in the forest (an infinite garden), max. 20 mins from Chambord Castle. There is no WIFI but an ~ 12 m long swimming pool that adds significantly to the experience. There are 2 adjacent rooms and 1 separate - if you are 2-3 and prefer to be separated go to the latter one. We met with 3 cats, 1 huge duck, a donkey and a local breed bull - the kids really enjoyed the experience. Breakfast is an extended French version: brioch like things, jam, tea/coffee/orange juice, yoghurt, muesli and fruits. Host is nice and helpful (e.g. no fridge or plates in the rooms but we could use the one in the kitchen and land some plates and glasses for our picknik in the garden).

In one room we had tiles, but in the other wooden floor. Around the bathtub its base was somewhat week - and you never know what comes from under not tight floor.... But besides everything was excellent.

Séjour parfait mais trop court, il faudra revenir!

C’est un gîte très accueillant et confortable au cœur des bois. Notre hôte est très sympathique et aux petits soins pour nous. Les chambres sont grandes, le lit est confortable, il y a un bon débit dans la douche, tout est nickel. Le petit déjeuner est servi dans une belle salle à manger lumineuse qui donne sur la nature. On a envie d’y retourner!

Super accueil, séjour calme et confortable

B&B dans un endroit paisible, nous avons été accueillis comme si nous arrivions chez des amis. La literie était particulièrement confortable. En plus, nous avons visité le château de Chambord et l’accès en voiture à partir du logis se fait vraiment rapidement. Si on repasse dans la Loire, on reviendra !!

Fantastisch mooie locatie in een groot privébos met allemaal leuke dieren. Vriendelijke gastvrouw. Heerlijk grote kamer en badkamer met uitzicht op de tuin. Fijn zwembad.

Het ontbijt is typisch Frans, dus vrij eenvoudig en aan de zoete kant. Maar dat is een kwestie van smaak. Zwakke wifi en gsm-connectie, maar op vakantie is dat eerder een voordeel :-)

Logement ressourcant

L'accueil était très chaleureux de la part de la maîtresse des lieux et de sa fille. La maison, pleine de charme, située au cœur de la forêt permet de se ressourcer au calme. Le charme de l'ancien au milieu de la forêt. La chambre était très spacieuse et comporte les équipements nécessaires. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et nous recommandons ce logement géré par un très gentille famille.

On serait bien restés plus longtemps !!!

Etape d'une nuit pour visiter Chambord sur la route du retour: nous avons tout aimé ! Les enfants ont adoré leur chambre, la piscine, le canard et le chien évidemment. Accueil agréable et bienveillant, lieu charmant et très calme, chambres vastes et confortables et petit déjeuner généreux. Bref que du positif, nous garderons un très bon souvenir de notre passage au Logis de Bois Renard.

Manque un peu d'intimité dans la baignoire, un paravent serait le bienvenu.

Magnifique endroit au cœur d’une petite forêt, proche des châteaux. Nous avons pu nous reposer amplement et profiter du calme environnant. Notre hôte était très à l’écoute et nous a raconté l’histoire de ce lieu historique. Une expérience unique que nous recommandons !
