What a lovely stay

Everything. It's a home away from home. Kitchen and wash room are fully equiped. Host has think of Everything one need. Toys that provided are a super way to make children busy. It was the best apartment we ever had. Host is very nice and helpful. Meiringen is a calm and quert area. We visited end of may 2025. It's a really good location as well.

Comfortable location in Meiringen, close to train station and supermarkets

Apartment has everything for a family, the area is quiet, access to laundry washing machine on the same floor available 7-21:00, fully equipped kitchen, a balcony with some mountain view, a free water source near the building. Great place to make excursion in the area. Thank mr. von Bergen for waiting us at the train station.

Property was spacious, clean, well stocked with everything we needed and in an excellent location. Parking provided in secure car park. Also nice to have a lift when travelling with luggage. Property also has large balcony with bbq.

Superb

Location great. Short walk from train station and close to groceries and restaurants. Condo was large. Host thought of everything - extra kitchen linens, great coffee maker, toys for children, converters for charging purposes, good quality fans for the rooms- even a fondue set! Super choice for families! Elevator in building. Very quiet. Would stay again.

Recycling in building not as clearly laid out as could be. But nonetheless happy to see recycling available until august he building. Be aware of the extra charges (this was set out during the booking but be sure to factor that in when budgeting).

good trip!!

The room is clean. The room is convenient. The room is large. Friendly owner. Plenty of utensils and children's toys. Grundelwald and Interlaken are also nearby, so the hotel is in a good location. BBQ is also possible.

The washing machine can be used for a short time. From morning until 16:00. We were out during the day so we couldn't do our laundry. It would be nice to be able to use it a little later. Because there was construction next door, I was worried about the sound and people's voices from early in the morning.

Great apartment with a nice and kind owner

The apartment was very comfortable, clean, and big. The owner gave us lots of accessories and sweets, and even guides to the whole area The parking garage underground is big and accessible with lift and baggage cart for your floor

We thought that the washing machine and the dryer is just for us but eventually it’s for the whole floor/building and it has operating hours

Super accommodation in great little Swiss town

I've been to Meiningen 5 times and each time I've stayed in a different location. This property was by far the best accommodation I've had yet. I will definitely stay here again and again. Host even drove us to the train station when we left because it was raining.

Very nice apartment

This is a brilliant, well-kept apartment equipped with everything (WiFi, Netflix, shared washing machine, good kitchen… the landlord even left a basket of local delicacies). We travelled with kids and they had a great time.

Exceptional

Modern, spacious and clean apartment in an excellent location. Complimentary basket with meringues, cheese and sauce from the region were a nice touch. Convenient location in town near shops and restaurants and just a few steps from the train station. Within 4 nights and 5 days, I visited Lungernsee, Brienzersee, Engstlensee , Gelmerbahn which is a must, Aare gorge. The washmachine had a problem during our last day so the host did the laundry for us at another location. This is definitely worth mentioning. We liked everything. We will return one day. Excellent facilities and hosts. Excellent location.

Espectacular

El apartamento estaba genial. No le faltaba detalle. El anfitrión nos recibió muy amablemente y nos habían dejado unos regalos de bienvenida. El apartamento es muy amplio, con aparcamiento propio. Nosotros éramos 6 personas y hemos estado muy a gusto. La cocina super bien equipada. El entorno ha sido muy agradable y hemos disfrutado de la estancia. Sin lugar a dudas si tuviera que repetir, volvería al mismo apartamento.

Nada. Para poner una pega, podría haber un aseo pero es para decir algo.

Wir hatten ein phantastisches Winterwochenende in dieser wunderschönen Wohnung in Meiringen, die keine Wünsche offen ließ. Herr von Bergen ist ein sehr aufmerksamer und professioneller Gastgeber. An dieser Stelle vielen Dank für das Präsent zu meinem Geburtstag und daß wir die Wohnung und den Tiefgaragenstellplatz am Abreisetag noch vollumfänglich nutzen durften.
