About this house rental
This unique property has a recently renovated 2br/2bath main house. The main house features hardwood throughout. The colorful walls bring a smile as soon as you walk in the door. The updated electric, heat pump, kitchen cabinets and ceiling fans make you feel comfortable every moment you are in the house. The home has two spacious bedrooms (king bed and 2 sets of bunk beds) and two full bathrooms. And just wait until you see the outdoor living space! HUGE amazing deck with lounge area and outdoor shower and separate sink! Gas fire pit! Bocce Court! Walk across the street and down the boardwalk to hit the beautiful sandy beach. A short stroll to all of the action and activities on Flagler Ave.

We absolutely loved the outdoor gazebo and large patio with the fire pit! I used the outdoor shower most days after coming home from the beach which was just across the road. Would definitely stay here again! We Love it!

Great location near beach and tourist businesses. Great backyard outdoor space for us and the dog. House was nice and well stocked. It was small but perfect for the two of us.

My wife and I spent January-March, 2019 at this house, along with our small dog. Though it's a fairly small house, the space felt bigger than the online pictures implied, and the owners had done a great job making it more up-to-date and livable, including two nice bathrooms and washer/dryer utility room. We could be on the beach in less than 5 minutes walking - just across the street. And downtown/Flagler Avenue was also a short walk.
The showcase of this property is the fabulous backyard - anytime we showed it to visitors they usually responded, "oh wow!" The raised, covered deck is enormous and great for relaxation or grilling out. We used the gas firepit several times, including the night of the lunar eclipse. We didn't use the bocce court, but that was also a cool thing to have. We all appreciated the fully fenced back yard so that we didn't have to take our dog out on a leash and she could have better play times.
I'm a musician and brought some gear along with me, so the beach cottage was perfect for setting up and playing without bothering anyone else. We didn't use it for sleeping, but the two futons and full bath could certainly make it useful for that.
Jill and Dan were always responsive to any questions and issues. We had a great winter stay in New Smyrna Beach, and having a place like this to call home was a big part of that positive experience.
