Wonderful place to stay with incredible views

We stayed in The Shed and the views were amazing. We loved sitting on the enclosed verandah and we found the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and spa.

Tranquil and perfectly located

The cabin is a tranquil private retreat set perfectly looking out over bush with view shafts to the ocean. I loved the pool and relaxing on the beanbags looking out to sea. Location is great! A short 15-20 min walk to/from the marina, or a couple of minutes by car. The lighthouse is about an hour round trip. Lots of steps but totally worth it… and the pool is great to cool off in afterwards.

A perfect retreat combining nature and comfort to rest and restore

The location and facilities were outstanding- and the view was spectacular. It was only a short walk to both a private beach and the local shops and restaurants and very peaceful for a relaxing and restorative holiday. The hosts were friendly and welcoming.

Incredible views, super comfortable, wonderful host!

This was an incredible place to stay. The accommodations were perfect, the view was INSANE and we loved the hot tub and pool overlooking the bay and out to the Poor Knights Islands. We would love to stay here again if we’re ever near Tutukaka. Also, the host Suzie was so lovely and helpful. Highly recommend!

The views are stunning. The pods are set up with a separate living room/kitchen and bedroom. Lots of privacy and space. The coffee machine was amazing and the owner left us tea, nespresso pods and milk. Easy to walk into Tutukaka and access to lighthouse trail.

Could use a few more dishes.

Amazing beautiful spot .

The property was exceptional. Its position gives you enough privacy for personal space as well as private and shared views out over the ocean All facilities were available to use swimming pool, spa, seating under cover with exceptional views , BBQ private walk to beach below . You can just stay in or use as a base . The location is 25 min walking distance from eateries in Tutukawa coast harbour .The Marina woodfired dining restaurant /cafe will give you the best pizza I have ever eaten in Nz . Be sure to reserve . It also has great coffee.Has other restaurants as well. It is also handy to Lighthouse hike .. just over an hour to hike to Lighthouse .And short driving distance to Whale Bay ,arguably the most naturally beautiful beach in the country . Plus Matapouri beach , Whangaumu bay, Sandy bay plus. Suzy owner is a delight, no request is too much.

The property is amazing and facilities incredible . My only concern is our double bed although quite comfy wasn’t big enough for my partner that is over 6ft .The bed was the only disappointment

The location is absolutely fabulous with views virtually 360 degrees from our room. Straightforward walking into Tutukaka for supper at Schnappa rock. Lovely host.

a wonderful getaway spot for a couple with the most magnificent views and everything you could want

the location was amazing & the sweeping views of the coastline were magnificent. it had a secluded feel to it which we loved. it felt like you were living outside with the bathroom, kitchen, bathtub all out on the deck but cleverly designed with options to close it all in in wild weather.

just know to stock up on food before you go as the town has limited options in the off season
