We had a lovely stay. Loved the location & the staff, Dewi & Hendro certainly made it better 💖

Location was great. Walking distance to beach, shopping and many restaurants. Staff were very friendly & helpful ie Dewi & Hendro.

The shower head was terrible. Water went everywhere. Also hot water was sporadic at best. The sink tap in one of the bedrooms needs to be changed. Water was dripping out. The front door lock was also a bit challenging to unlock.

Master bedroom upstairs is not enclosed. Ie open all around the roof line to the air leading to inefficient air conditioning, and mosquitos +++ One of the downstairs bathrooms has sewerage smell.

Great location near the beach the shops and restaurants. Felt like a tranquil haven amongst the busyness of Seminyak. Pool was great.

Kitchen facilities could do with a bit of an upgrade and hot showers were tricky most days. However didn’t spoil our stay.

Serenity and Nature combined to make a peaceful private oasis.

Villa Malou is a personal oasis to fully rest and enjoy catching up with friends. The outdoor lounging area by the pool was so inviting and comfortable we spent most of our days there. The pool is wonderful, a great depth and the garden surround have a beautiful tropical feel. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well provided and the large bottled water unit with instant hot or cold water is excellent. The staff are very helpful and always ready to assist. Many thanks to Hendro, Davi and Hendra for their consideration.

The surface of room 3 toilet seat is rough, should be replaced. The painted taps in the bathroom are chipped - they look bad. The floors are very slippery when wet, you need to be very careful. These are little things but important at such a luxurious villa.

Brilliant, highly recommend 🏖️☀️

The location was great, near all the yummy restaurants. Walking distance to everything else you could think of. Ku De Ta down the road. The staff are very accommodating and going above to help out ie massages to the villa. Henda, Deni and Hendro were so lovely and checked in every day to make sure we happy.

Can’t say there was anything we didn’t like, besides shower pressure at times.

Great spot

Team Hendro and Devi looked after us during our stay. They contacted us everyday to check in if we needed anything. Location was great and super close to Eat street. Would definitely stay again.

The floors got quite slippery from the pool, so was tricky with a toddler but that is unavoidable anyway as many villas are tiled. Overall our stay was fantastic.

Amazing villa with great service at Seminyak

The villa location is perfect, in the middle of Seminyak, 5min walk to Seminyak square and main shopping area and restaurants/party and also located in a street that is not loud so we couldn't hear the traffic. The pool is beautiful, they prepared balloon decoration for our birthday and make sure you order the dinner at the villa (super affordable and the best food we had in Bali) The villa staff is amazing Hendra, Hendro and Devi were super accommodating, made our room at our preferred timing and reply super fast toall our whatsapp queries ...thank you!

The only con is that there is a room with no windows although the door opens up to fresh air.

The outside area is gorgeous and the staff Hendro, Hendra and Desi are lovely. They kept the place spotlessly clean and tidy. They stayed up so late to welcome us in (late flight), organised washing and were just super awesome. Great location.

The owners really need to upgrade the beds, pillows and soft furnishings, and the shower heads could do with replacing. It is a wee bit tired and would be hard for the staff to maintain. We moved out of the master bedroom after one night - it was too noisy and needs blockout curtains. The sign has fallen down and needs better directions!

Villa Malou is a great place to stay if you want to be in the middle of the action in Seminyak

The location of Villa Malou is excellent - so close to Main Street with restaurants & shops and short walk to Seminyak Square. Lots of great places to lounge, read & relax. Hendra & Hendro were easy to communicate with and provided answers to all our questions. Thanks!

Not cheep, close to everything but needs work.

The property is an easy walk to KuDeTa beach club/ Seminyak beach and all of the surrounding restaurants and shops etc. All of the bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms and a safe in each room.

The biggest concern was that the entire water system, meaning all the showers and basins, kitchen sink and pool turned everything a rusty brown colour. Our swimmers that we worn in the pool went rusty colours, we would shower after a day at the beach or pool and using fresh white towels you could see the rusty brown all over the towels. I know you can’t drink the water in Bali but after a couple of days we weren’t sure we wanted to bath in it either. Side note, we stayed in a hotel on the last day as we had a late flight and had to be out of the villa and no rusty water there so it was the villa. Our villa was also serviced daily but the cleaners wanted us out completely for approximately 3 hours while they did their chores. They didn’t even want us around the pool. This meant that the privacy of our own pool was interrupted every day and we ended walking to the beach and paying for a sun lounge. Over all the property is very tired and in need of a good renovation. Bathrooms with exposed walls to the outside sounds romantic but there’s nothing to stop the mozzies getting in and we had lots of them.

The property was well maintained and looked exactly like the photos. Location was also excellent - easy walking distance to cafes, shops and the beach. The villa manger was very responsive and the staff very accomodating. Loved the filtered drinking water system provided!

It would have been nice if airport pick up and transfer was included. Also, they could stock up a bit more for tea and coffee as we constantly ran out. And provide milk for the coffee/tea. There is also no facility to store luggage after check-out time.

Hendra and Hendro made our stay excellent and were very accommodating to all our needs. Fantastic villa, a few mins walk to lively parts of the town.

More secure outer door although reach room had a separate lock. Working CCTV outside would be welcome.

great spot! nice little villa/home tucked into a really great part of Seminyak. very nice staff, service room daily. it’s a little bit old but very comfortable, if anything is not working they attend to it quickly. big open living space, nice pool.

payment is not easy if coming from overseas. preferred method is Indonesian bank transfer. was able to pay by credit card with staff.
