A great place for the price, only real complaint is about the plumbing. Everything else was great.

Location is good, there's a Mega Image a brisk walk away which is convenient and it's close enough to the city centre that going by foot isn't a chore. Facilities are well kept and the beds are comfortable, the atmosphere is overall cozy. Coffee on the house is also massively appreciated.

The plumbing is a bit weird, and very inconsistent with the water temperature.

Wonderful Stay at Mosaico Alfetta Hostel – 22–29 November 2025 We spent a week at Mosaico Alfetta Hostel, and our experience truly exceeded all expectations. The location is excellent — very convenient, close to the city center, public transport, and many cafés and restaurants, which made exploring Timișoara easy and enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious every morning, prepared with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. The staff were wonderful: welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help. They created a warm atmosphere that made us feel completely at home. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-designed — the cozy bed, plenty of natural light, and peaceful environment made it perfect for relaxing after long walks around the city. We sincerely want to thank Florentin, the owner, for his warm hospitality and personal attention throughout our stay. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for guests truly make this hostel special. Overall, Mosaico Alfetta Hostel offered an unforgettable experience, and we would happily return. Cozy hostel and an amazing, helpful owner

This hostel is such a chill place where one can feel like at home. I like the old style building and the vibe of the place. It's a quiet neighbourhood, 15 minutes to city center by foot. The beds are comfy, would stay here again.

a big spacious apartment, private, very quiet, near Badea Cartan market and Isho complex; It is easy walkable by foot to the city center. The host was very polite, I felt very comfortable. Truly recommend!

BEST LOCATION IN TIMISOARA

I spent a week at Mosaic Alfetta Hostel and my stay was great. Florentine was a good host. The room was very spacious and all the facilities were adequate. Excellent location close to City, shops, and river park. I highly recommend Mosaic Alfetta Hostel.

If I had to say then the water should be hotter for showering.

Nice , clean old - fashioned villa in quiet side street.

Nice host, makes you feel welcome and gives you all the information ( and gave me a coffee and croissant in the morning ). Nice communicative old villa with terrace in quiet side street. Good in hot weather. Fan. Clean bathroom and kitchen ( for self- cookers).

Never have I seen a more hospitable, kind and helpful host. The facilities are great, the location as well. At this price you're getting much more than what you're paying for -- with free coffee and a chocolate croissant in the morning on top of that. Hostel experiences don't get much better than that. Possibly the best hostel in Eastern Europe

A superb hostel, in a baroque mansion located in a quiet area of the town.Veey clean, and unusually comfortable for a hostel, with a large elegant common room, large rooms, a lovely terrace and a luxury huge bathroom. The host is a very helpful and considerate gentleman who will make sure you are enjoying your stay.

Very nice staff, got plenty of recommendations and clear instructions. The room was large, clean and decorated the old-school way. It's a short walk from the center and has public transportation options around. All in all a very comfortable stay for the night.

Wonderful

Honestly, exceptional. Before arriving, Florentin helped organise my transfer to Serbia. Upon arrival I was immediately greeted and made to feel at home. The hostel is spacious, very clean, and it has all the necessary facilities - I wish I could have stayed longer. After some bad experiences at hostels in Romania, this was the perfect way to end my trip here.

Great host, very knowledgeable about the city and history, eager to help you with anything. Free croissant and coffee/tea for breakfast, free fruits. Comfortable bed, nice atmosphere. Free locker, free towel use.

Great place and people

I was so happy finding in one of my favourite cities a hostel similar as vibe and facilities with the best I’ve been to in other european countries. Great host, so helpful and polite. Had great conversation with guests and met some very interesting people.

Just a suggestion: convert a room to women only. Most cases, mixed rooms are fine but as a solo female traveller discussing the topic with other women, this is an enhancement to the experience.
