The saff and owners were very accommodating, welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the view is incredible and the grounds are idyllic with a small pool, and many fruit trees and flowers everywhere. The owners arranged for lanchas whenever needed and to wherever desired. They were very knowledgeable about tourist spots, as well as local history and culture. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Flores as well, as it is slightly cooler in temperature and a lot more quiet and relaxed, just a couple of minutes by boat from the island.
The Inn is limited to local conditions. Some roads aren't paved and water can be an issue for showers together with the entire town. The Inn will do anything to overcome these limitations, if possible, and would keep you informed about any issues

Really like the view of Flores and the lake, the kindness of owner and staff, Eric is the best, he found the best driver and guide for us (Julian & Ezequiel) to visit Tikal, Uaxactun and Yaxha. I highly recommend this hotel across Flores, you will enjoy the view and be wonderfully cared for. Chechenal beach is 25 min walk from the hotel.

Beautiful & unique property, with lovely gardens, a pleasant deck & pool overlooking Flores, and a breezy rooftop deck with hammocks.

The views were phenomenal, and the pool was refreshing. The room easily accommodated 5 of us other than a lack of a place to put luggage, it had enough beds for 2 more people. Taking boat rides to get everywhere was a fun experience and the hotel gave lower prices than I heard others negotiating. The upstairs relaxation area is wonderful. The entire hotel was very quiet less my kids. Mowgli, the hotel dog, won my kid's hearts. Know that you are in a remote area and there are frequent power outages. They were also very helpful in helping us secure a private transfer to Lanquín that was very comfortable and safe
My only complaint was that we had a mix up the first night, and it was equal parts our fault and the hotel's. Our flight got cancelled and we came in later than expected. We let the hotel know, but we didn't have any service on the runway, and we were 30 mins later than expected. When we landed we couldn't reach anyone, which was a little intimidating in the middle of the night in an unknown place with kids. Fortunately a driver at the airport was able to help us secure a different hotel. On booking the owner said we wouldn't be charged for that night, but when I paid at the end of our stay, they charged me half price for that night, which I hadn't anticipated, and I had already booked an extra day with them so that we could do additional things. It would've been nice to know the price in advance for budgeting as they charge a hefty fee for using cards, and I hadn't pulled out quite enough cash to cover it. There is no ATM near the hotel. Fortunately, they let me pay part in cash and part by card. The water at the hotel was piping hot (near scalding). The climate was very warm and humid, so we would've preferred cold showers to hot, but couldn't control the temperature. Another thing to be aware of (not a negative on the hotel, just part of the experience) There were frequent power outages in the area, and no generators on the property, so they advised no power also meant no running water. Likewise generators on Flores nor in Santa Elena support the ATMs, so I would recommend getting cash before heading there so that you aren't out of luck and in dire need.
