Location,scenery ,food and the staff were so helpful and knowledgable .

Rooms would benefit with ac as the room was so warm at night we struggled to sleep with the heat.

We stayed on a quiet Sat evening when the nearby racecourse was closed & we found the golf club a very relaxing place to stay. Location is good just off the A43 between M40 & M1. The clubhouse offered a good range of food & drinks & the staff we met were very friendly, welcoming & helpful.

We stayed here for one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodation is in a row of modern lodge-style rooms overlooking the golf course, and my room was comfortable, clean and very well presented. The bathroom was excellent, with a good shower and everything I needed for my stay. The staff were a real highlight. Everyone I met was friendly and welcoming, particularly the lady working behind the bar, who couldn't have been more helpful. I had dinner and breakfast on site. Breakfast was very good, and while the evening meal was more relaxed clubhouse dining than formal restaurant dining, it was enjoyable and served in a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, this was excellent value for money. The setting is attractive, the people are lovely, and everything was well organised. I would happily stay here again if I were in the area.

Staff were pleasant and catering was very good.

The grounds manager was insistent upon not taking motor vehicles to the room embarking and disembarking area even briefly, Consequently I was forced to carry all my stuff right around the building. I felt that the regimented "club culture" had been "plonked" on to a hotel?
