Beautiful peaceful lodge

The location was great and so peaceful with secluded grounds all to yourself. The lodge was so comfortable and the hosts were lovely. They left us a lovely cream tea for our arrival which was a sweet touch. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were perfect for our needs. The views over the lake were beautiful.

Brilliant location

Location was perfect, a nice getaway which it was I very much needed to be alone.

The road, layby going down from the main road is too much gravel with the bike which is a safety hazard but more preference really than the actual lodge.

Lovely little cottage tucked away in a quiet spot. Was handy to things we wanted to visit. Nice touch to have homemade scones and cream on arrival

The lake and grounds, privacy, great friendly host and everything we needed. Comfortable bed and well thought out touches The Goose and goslings were lovely!

A very clean well presented accommodation in a quiet relaxing environment. Equipped with a few games and extra blankets Incase you got cold. They thought of everything. We had a lovely cream tea on arrival too.

Fabulous peaceful stay to recharge batteries and use as a base for Cornwall

Like a little oasis, a bit hard to find as GPS not good but do not rely on GPS for any of the roads there as it takes you down teeny lanes you have to keep on reversing to let people through. Big no no to use GPS!!

A wonderful, quiet stay surrounded by nature

Lovely setting surrounded by trees, bird song and away from the city bustle. We never even saw the hosts, but they left all the necessary instructions and even a welcome cream tea! We had the place completely to ourselves, which was wonderful. It's overall more of an experience than a stay - have dinner on the terrace and then sit down in the lounge chairs and birdwatch as the sun sets. What more could one ask for. The cabin was very cosy and had all the amenities you could want. There was a heater in every room as well - very thoughtful! Icing on the cake was being visited by the farm cat in the morning.

The lodge was clean and comfortable, with complete kitchen facilities. Cornish cream tea with personalised welcome note was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated. The site itself was nice and tranquil and it was wonderful just sitting looking over the lake. We had an excellent holiday and would certainly recommend a visit.

There was a cute stray cat who seemed really nice and sweet and but all of a sudden decided to scratch and bite me without any provocation. Completely my fault but only writing it here so you won't be tempted to pet the cat.

Stunning location. Vanda and Tony were both very friendly and welcoming and really nothing was too much effort for them. Nice touch with cornish cream tea welcome tray. Would definitely return

Cannot fault the accommodation or location at all. The weather could've been better as we stayed during storm Eunice but that is just the joys of the great british staycation
