Location was great!

Parking options were cryptic. Could we pay 14€ to park out front as an option? There were spots when we arrived but we were directed in the written instructions that it was not advised. The city parking for 5€ is not 5 minutes away as stated; it’s more like 13-15 minutes away walking and not easy to find when driving using Google Maps. Perhaps provide the Google latitude/longitude for specificity of location. Went to 2 other lots before we found the right one. Seemed awkward to see that the owner parked a spare car with stickers on it (indicating City Rooms Šibenik) just outside of the property but requires visitors to drive and walk roundtrip 30 minutes to park car (in the event of the driving distance) to retrieve the car for less active individuals. The style and devor was very nice! But it is clear to me that the owner has not stayed at this apartment themselves for more than one night. The amenities of this room did not make sense. The shower head falls off the hook and onto one’s head anytime you turn the water on or off due to the lower quality of hardware. The shower door opens into the sink. The safe doesn’t have a battery to operate it. The refrigerator is a wine cooler so food doesn’t get cold. The requirement that one must turn off the Air Conditioner when you leave or be penalized 25€ in the height of summer heat is ridiculous. When messaged that the shower was clogged and the water backed up to ankles, not even an apology; just that it would be looked at after we departed. (We did not need it to be addressed during our stay.) This property is treated like a short term (side hustle) rental, not a business for visitors seeking a home away from home. So much potential. We’ve stayed at multiple places throughout the world and rarely leave a negative review. Hoping this provides constructive feedback to the owner.

The building and patio were pretty and the interior was decorated well

There was extremely intense smell of some house perfume trying to mask old mould walls smell (worth noting if you’re sensitive to smells). Soundproofing is almost nonexistent - I could hear everything from the room above. The description is a bit misleading - there’s no breakfast at the property but 10 mins walk down the promenade for extra €12.
