Villa Scorzi - Relais de Charme

We liked having some kitchen facilities after a few days eating out. The apartment was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The garden is pretty and well maintained. It is close to Sienna, but too far to walk as you have to cross some dangerous roads (and it was too hot).

Checking out at 10 is too early if you need to pack and clear out the kitchen. The swimming pool water contained too many chemicals; in other places we stayed that week we had much cleaner pools. The kitchen is very minimal but fine for heating up some dinner and for breakfast. A bit more coffee and tea would be appreciated.

An absolutely gorgeous venue, not surprised it’s used for weddings. We were also given a bottle of wine with the room which was so kind and a lovely touch to the great stay.

It should be advertised as more of a B&B, the staff are lovely but there isn’t enough of them. After breakfast, there is nothing available until 12:30pm (when the “pool bar” opens). There isn’t a bar, it’s someone who comes to your sunbed with a ticklist (you’re lucky if you see this person more than once) this ticklist is only available 12:30-2:30. It includes focaccia with various toppings and overpriced drinks (4 euro for a sparkling water). The actual pool is gorgeous, as is the property, but don’t expect any sort of service.

It’s calm, it’s authentic Tuscany medieval architecture , the charm of its rooms, the beautiful pool and the great service around it by Hamidou.

The breakfast team wasn’t that efficient, unfortunately despite the breakfast itself being very good and diversified

I couldn't even get a drink or a coffee after breakfast. No 24 hour check in. Just an expensive Airbnb. Ridiculous... Relais and Chateau should throw them out. A blemish on their reputation.
