A jewel in south of Crete

Our stay at Zorba's Rooms was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, it offered privacy and it was very quiet. The kitchenette had everything we needed. The family who runs the place was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We were truly impressed by their genuine hospitality. A major highlight was the food they served at their taverna: it was not only delicious and authentic traditional Cretan cuisine but also very well-priced, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is perfect, just a short 3-minute walk to a beautiful beach. The view from the room was also stunning. There is a bakery and a supermarket at 10 minute drive. Also, the baker and the fruit vendor come every day to sell their products. We highly recommend Zorba's Rooms for anyone looking for a truly authentic, delicious, and relaxing Cretan experience. We can't wait to return for another unforgettable summer holiday!

Exceptional

We are travelling through the island for one month and we really needed a couple of days to rest. This is the right place to sleep, eat and go to the beach. The food is really good and not expensive, the beach is two minutes on foot away from the hotel, the family is really welcoming. The room was clean and cool even though outside it was really hot. We also found some fruit in the fridge which was really appreciated. If you want to do or see anything else you need a car. We are travelling by bus and we were lucky because the bus driver who took us to Frangokastello new the place and took us there for a little extra cash. The hotel is about 5 km far from the bus stop. When we left, the owner arranged a transfer for us so we could take the 06.15 bus from Frangokastello.

There is nothing we didn't like.

Very nice stay. The owners are amazing, so kind. Food is delicious , and from ingredients from their farm. really nice view from the restaurant. Room as on the photos. Comfortable beds. Nice terrace were to relax.

Good location for a relaxing break

I really enjoyed my stay at Zorba's Rooms. The location is good, with a quiet beach just a few hundred yards away and many interesting destinations just a short drive away. The host family was friendly and welcoming and I had an excellent evening meal there each day of my stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, with good wifi reception.

We loved everything!! This great family is one of a kind. Siriosly we couldn't ask for more! So nice people! Generous and friendly! The place is very beautiful and very close to the see. Helemaal geweldig, als je rust zoekt, een heel gezellig verblijf en lekker eten.

De hele accommodatie! Het was authentiek Grieks met een zeer grote gastvrijheid! Daarbij runt het gezin ook nog een taverne en is alles wat je er kan eten van eigen land. We zijn helaas maar 1 nacht geweest, maar komen graag nog eens terug. De vriendelijkheid van de vrolijke en lieve eigenaresse zullen wij nooit vergeten! Nogmaals bedankt!

Niet bevallen is een groot woord, maar het douche gordijntje vind ik zelf niet zo fijn, maar door alle andere pluspunten maakt dit niks meer uit!

Wunderbar zum abschalten und erholen ohne Touristen

Herzlicher Empfang, Zimmer sehr sauber, Matratzen sehr gut. Strand in der Nähe und ruhig. Essen in Taverne welche zur Anlage gehört sehr gut und alles frisch.

Leider keine Kaffeemaschine vorhanden, Dusche haette etwas größer sein können

Bestes Essen, tolle Familie

Schöne ruhige Zimmer, tolles Essen, super freundliche, fleißige Besitzer. Die Familie hält ihre eigenen Tiere, stellt eigenes Olivenöl her und sammelt Kräuter und Tee. Wir kommen sehr gerne nochmal wieder her.

- die Betten müssten mal überholt werden. Da hab ich leider Rückenschmerzen von bekommen - es fehlte ein Besen im Zimmer

Es war ein wunderschöner und erholsamer Aufenthalt im Süden von Kreta. Das Ambiente war traumhaft, der Strand in unmittelbarer Nähe und die Besitzer außerordentlich herzlich. Alles hat gestimmt – die Atmosphäre, die Lage und die Gastfreundschaft. Nochmals vielen Dank für diesen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder!

Excellent séjour et un accueil à l’image de la Crète.

Magnifique étape. Un accueil très chaleureux. Les studios possèdent une terrasse avec vue sur la mer. Plage à 5 minutes à pieds. La nourriture très savoureuse. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de trois nuits. Nous recommandons.

Gerne immer wieder

Ankommen, abschalten und entspannen. Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier richtig, Man wird herzlichst von der Besitzer Familie empfangen. Die kleinen Zimmer sind zweckmäßig aber außreichend eingerichtet. Das Essen in der Taverne ist hervorragend. Die meißten Lebensmittel sind aus eigenem Anbau, oder die Herkunft ist nachvollziehbar. Bei problemen oder Fragen steht die Familie einen zur Seite. Wer Griechenlad sucht wird hier fündig, genauso wer Urlaub ohne Ablenkung sucht.

Merveilleusement fabuleux

FANTASTIQUE ! Tout était parfait, l'accueil, le logement, la plage à 2 minutes à pied, les repas à la taverne sont délicieusement copieux. Les hôtes sont d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle, et sont toujours disponibles et à la recherche de la satisfaction de leurs clients. Le logement est équipé de la climatisation et d'une kitchenette suffisante. Nous sommes restés 2 semaines; le ménage est fait tous les 3 jours ainsi que le changement des draps et serviettes de toilette. Cette adresse est à retenir ... un vrai paradis; on y reviendra. Ne changez rien.
