What a fabulous hotel! I couldn't fault our stay. The cleanliness was spot on. The breskfast was lovely. You could help yourself to tea, coffee and pastries between 1 and 6pm which was a lovely welcome touch. And all of the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. The location and surrounds were perfect. Thankyou

Very friendly staff. Great location.Very quiet. Takeaway service from their sister site is excellent and the food is very good. Cream tea in the afternoon is a nice touch. Rooms are exactly as expected. Good choice of breakfast, both cooked and continental. Great base if you want to visit other areas of the lakes.

Perfect location just as you come into Grasmere. The whole hotel was spotless and the staff extremely friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Even a late evening last minute takeaway pizza order was delivered in 15 minutes. Great for parking and the grounds were well kept with plenty of seating.
Nothing to dislike. Would definitely stay there again and will recommend to friends & family
