Excellent stay with friendly staff & clean rooms

Really friendly staff - 20 of our family hired out most of the hotel and we were well looked after. Comfortable beds in clean rooms.

Parking nearby could be challenging mid-week but I'm sure there are more options than we saw (nearest 2 carparks have a 3hr limit in the week)

An easy and comfortable place to stay in the centre of town.

It is easy to find and right in the centre with lovely walks to the Chateaux and lake, which is perfect for swimming. The rooms were clean and gave ample space for two people sharing. Staff were very polite and friendly.

It would be nice to have somewhere to gather together. I was with a small group and we could only congregate outside. A reception or seating area would have been nice. Also the light in the bathroom was poor and only dimly lit the room.

Lovely auberge in centre of Prangins.

The Auberge was in a great position and was clean and well equipped. There were cafes for breakfast very close by and the restaurant next to the harbour we found excellent and was less than 10mins walk. There are plentiful buses if you want to go further afield. We didn’t have much contact with staff but those we did were polite and friendly. We were travelling by motorbike and so parking was easy. Would definitely return.

A great room in a great place, loved it!

We got a friendly welcome and loved the room, it had everything we needed. We also had a great dinner in the restaurant downstairs, which was very convenient, as there aren't many options in Prangins in the evening on a weekend, but the food was super tasty.

I love the staff, they are friendly. The room was clean and quiet! It is a short walk to the beach and Nyon.

There is not a ton of services close by later in the evening. If you want any extras make sure you stock up before the evening.

too expensive frankly for one night in extra season in a random village and for a 3 star hotel: 120 CHF Also, they have a nice restaurant with good food but again too expensive: supreme chicken, average size, mineral water and one 10dl glass of wine for 50 CHF.

Really a hostel rather than hotel.

Not much.

No air conditioning. Had to open the window because it was too hot. Heard the street noise all night, every night. Trucks, motorcycles, cars, people talking. No staff on duty Sunday and Monday. None. Checked in on Sunday but nobody at the front desk. They left an envelope with the room key. But front door always open. No security. Was supposed to get water bottles in the room, but none and no one to complain to. No fridge or microwave. Very disappointed.

Perfect Locations in Pragins, great staff and good ambience

The hotel does not offer breakfast but there is a very nice Bakery just in front. Note that the Bakery is closed on Saturdays but there is a grocery store besides the bakery which stocks croissant and other items in case. Location is perfect. We requested for rooms to be together and they have allocated 2 corner rooms just next to each other. This was perfect.

The menu in the restaurant could be more international (because we don't eat Meat) but that is a minor point.

well positioned for the museum and good restaurant

Clean and quirky since our room was in the roof. Breakfast over the road in the tea rooms was good. Had a great Thai Red Curry sat outside on the busy terrace.

No aircon or fan so had to keep windows open and it’s a surprisingly busy little area, don’t expect to sleep past 7am. Parking is in one of the municipal car parks just a minutes walk from the hotel which is free between 7pm-7am and for 3h with a disk (hotel proved one free of charge). This means you have to move the car and reset the disk if you want to visit the museum since that doesn’t open until 10am.

Authentic to the last detail.

The hotel atmosphere was friendly and the restaurant served food cooked freshly to order. Prangins village is pleasant to explore and the château gardens and museum are not to be missed.

Good, but the beds are a bit uncomfortable

Location.

The bed sheets and covers. Too short. A very strange way of making the bed that is very uncomfortable. We managed adding an additional set but then it was too heavy.

Excellent throughout. Friendly. Professional. Of course you need a car to get there.

I arrived late and all was prepared. I needed an extra hour for check out and it was granted without fuss.

The bar / restaurant was closed at 10 pm, just when I arrived, and it would have been great if the staff said (who were still there), yes, of course, we can give you a drink if you like. They did not.
