Great stay but bring some eyeshades to sleep.

A lovely 3 bed apartment in the heart of the old town. Great bathroom with bath & shower & also a washing machine which we didn’t use. A great kitchen with everything you need should you wish to stay in. There are some nice restaurants & bars within walking distance. The donut cafe next door provides a FAB breakfast selection!

We had some TV issues when we arrived but this was quickly resolved by 2 lovely ladies! Thank you. The apartment has no black out blinds in any of the bedrooms which was poor, so eyeshades are a must if you don’t want to be woken up at 5am. The upper mezzanine bedroom was out of bounds which was strange as it was a nice space. The cleanliness in the entrance was full of cobwebs which lacked attention to detail & let this place down.

A fabulous place to stay to explore a wonderful city.

The apartment is fabulous, very modern and arty. The location is perfect - in the old town, close to many cafes, restaurants, and attractions, but in a quiet area. We would happily stay here again. The beds are comfortable enough and the shower and hot water were on point.

The only downside was the lack of dark curtains/blinds on the velux windows, meaning we woke very early with sunrise each morning, which was around 5am on our dates. The description of the rooms on the website was confusing. It turns out there is a double room, a twin room, and a double bed in an open loft space above the living area.

Lovely, light-filled accommodations

Great location, friendly and helpful owner, full kitchen, tons of light throughout the space, nice bathroom with soaking tub, owner allowed us to store our bags after checkout. Very inviting and a warm welcome.

Beds were a little uncomfortable and lacked adequate sheets/comforters. The space is normally an artist's retreat, with access to the downstairs studio. However, as hotel guests it felt somewhat uncomfortable and unsafe to have a patio door (closed and curtained off) linking our accommodation to the downstairs pubic area. That said, the owner was very forthcoming and helpful when we inquired. The cordoned off third floor had a glass balcony and glass walkway across the top of our accommodation, linking it to another door/room (?), which also was surprising. But, again, makes sense in a communal artist space.

The property was modern, clean, pretty. It was practical, everything we needed was there. The place is in a wonderful location.

I would never recommend this place to other people.

The location is great.

When we came, we saw that one bedroom was locked. Even though it was our mistake that we didn’t mark we were 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids), it was kind of strange that they locked the room. Another unpleasant surprise was when the owners unlocked the bedroom and we saw that there was much comfortable bed than in the one that was left for us to use. In the description they write that there are queen size beds. This is not true. Our bedroom had 2 wooden framed single beds placed next to each other as one double bed. It wasn’t possible to sleep close to each other. The mattresses were so hard that it was almost painful to sleep. Also they were squeking every time you move. We got barely any sleep. Third surprise was when in the morning we saw CCTV camera in the kitchen!!! This is completely insane and not legal! And also, the space that you rent is not as big as they write. A big part of it is used for their personal stuff and it’s not usable. Aand there are lots of very weird photos of the owner with her 2 sons.. Why would the guests want to see their personal huge photos all around the place…? I would never recommend this place to other people.

excellent apartment in the center of kaunas. perfect spot to discovere the city and surroundings. was clean and comfortable. we had a really good stay in the apartment balta!

-we missed some basic kitchen cutlery like a cutting board. -you have to pay for all parking lots in nearer surrounding (description of the apartment told us "free parking lot". weekend and national holidays it's free) there is no resident parking.

Die Lage und die Wohnzimmer Einrichtung

Wir waren mit 2Tagen Pause 2x da.Beim zweiten mal wurde sogar die Kleiderstange aus dem Schlafzimmer entfernt und wir mussten unsere Kleidung auf dem Boden legen.Es gab nur das Bett und ein Nachtkästchen.Also nicht mal eine Kommode,geschweige einen Schrank.Keine Antwort der Vermieter auf Anfrage.Im zweiten Schlafzimmer war zumindest eine Kommode und eine Kleiderstange. Die Küchenausstattung war sehr gering. 1Topf ,keine 2gleichen Gläser,alles zusammengewürfelt.Zum Glück wollten wir eh nicht kochen.
