Location was amazing, we wanted to be near the beach and St Cadoc is less than 5 mins walk away. The garden was large and walled all around, all grass, views were good over Harlyn bay, trees did blocked 70% of the view tho, the cottage was small but very adequate for the three of us, kitchen was small but had every thing you need. beds were comfy, warm cottage but we did go in August so expected it to be warm.
Sorry to say this but St Cadoc is dated, the owners have tried to update, kitchen, TV, white goods, but it smelt heavily of damp, musky heavy odour, paint peeling off the wall in the living room under the window, very strong odour of damp when you opened the kitchen unit under the sink. The storage heaters were on when we arrived which meant the cottage was very warm, we turned them off, unfortunately the damp smell was exasperated, the bedding started to feel damp, we quickly found out why the heaters were on. we had to buy a scented candle to mask the odour, it is clear and obvious St Cadoc is an old property, which is in dyer need of gutting and refurbishing.
The living room is not big enough for large dinning table, it just does not fit.
The small garden brick shed has no door, so storing simple things like paddle boards, surf boards, bikes or anything like is a risk. Small investment by the owners into a shed or similar would not go a miss.
The trees growing on top of the wall blocked the view of the bay, these could be trimmed to take full advantage of the scenery/view of the bay/sea.
The owners only supplied two, yes two toilet rolls for three people for the week, no hand wash in the bathroom, only two small bath towels and two small hand towels supplied. We did ask the owner at the start of our holiday for more towels, she said she would get some dropped off, they never arrived.
We paid over £1,500 for our stay, I would stay again if the above were addressed. I.E. damp, updating, shed, towels, toilet rolls.
In its current state I would be very reluctant to pay this amount, it is not worth it, this was our main holiday this year, we usually go abroad but wanted a staycation as they now call it this time, shame really.

Great relaxing location, lovely garden and views across to the sea, and Cornish countryside.
