Delightful Cottage in the Cotswolds

It's a pleasant and quaint little cottage in a lovely location in the Cotswolds. The owners live next door & are very helpful. We had tea, coffee & milk provided for our arrival. It has full facilities & is very clean. The beds were very comy to sleep in. I'd happily return again.

The second bedroom has 2 single beds, & is very snug, but the beds were comfortable.

Superb

Gingerbread cottage is a very cosy charming little place. It was particularly good for us as we were celebrating a family birthday close by. There were 4 of us and it was fine perhaps good that we were family. Comfortable beds, sofas and very well equipped. Thankyou

Only small thing was couldn't find a working tin opener. Also instructions for the amazing shower would be helpful.

nice property in a great location and very welcoming hosts

the location we used for the RIAT it was perfect.nice little village with plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops nearby.The host was very welcoming and thank you for the icepops. The home was well equipped, clean and presentable.

only criticism blackout curtains got very light in the morning not that it was a major issue as we got up early to go to the show.

The cottage was very warm and comphy, it has everything you need for a very nice break.

Charming, clean and comfortable little cottage.

The cottage is appropriately named! It is attractively quaint, comfortable rather than luxurious and compact but completely functional. The downstairs bathroom might not suit everyone but it has a very big shower and full sized bath! The bedrooms and stairs are thickly carpeted so it's easy to move quietly during the night without disturbing others. There were three of us, a couple + friend. We brought clothing etc for a week and there was adequate flat storage though hanging space was limited. Everything - cooker, pans, utensils etc - was spotless. I loved the fact that we had control of the central heating 24/7 which has often not been the case elsewhere. The location is also excellent. The cottage is detached and quietly situated in a street off the main road but with shops, cafés and pubs in the centre of Fairford less than 10 minutes walk away. Fairford itself is a beautiful little town which punches above its weight for shopping and leisure facilities while also being close to numerous others (if you have a car). In summary, this is a perfect little cottage for those who rate comfort and value for money more than expensive décor and gadgetry.

The only slightly disappointing thing was that we couldn't get the upstairs radiators to work. We did mention this to the owners next door on day two, but in the event the weather was warm for the time of year so we didn't need them as the rising heat from downstairs was sufficient. (As we left the property the owner apologised for forgetting to attend to them.)

Perfect place for a weekend catch up where dogs are welcome.

Perfect cosy friendly cottage as described. Great that we could bring our dog and lovely welcome from host.
