Lovely and peaceful, enclosed garden for our dog. A shop just a mile away and pub 2 miles.

Everything! Comfortable beds, beautifully worn in chesterfields, dining table big enough for all the family, great central heating, hot and powerful showers, spacious rooms. Being in the countryside it was wonderfully quiet, although it's part of a working farm we didn't have any noise issues at all. Just about perfect.

No pan lids, we used plates instead so no problem

Perfect location for us, plentiful parking, warm, we unexpectedly had WiFi, which was a bonus we didn't expect. Garden was dog safe.

This property doesn't warrant a 4-star rating. The furniture is shabby and cleanliness wasn't to standard. The showers gave inconsistent temperature which made showering uncomfortable. The shower in the bathroom is hand-held only, which made it difficult to use without flooding the corridor outside. The taps are loose and only a trickle of water in one of the shower rooms. The washing machine is dangerous (electrical sparking underneath). We reported it when the washing became stuck inside. We turned it off at the wall and eventually this released the door so we phoned back to say we had managed to get it open, we didn't pursue it further, as we didn't need to use the machine any more, but we didn't see or hear from anyone. You need to know, it is a dangerous appliance and needs repairing or replacing to benefit future guests.
