Bayview Gardens Hotel

Beautiful hotel and beautiful view. Clean and comfortable.

The hotel is located in a busy street, so there is a lot of noise during the night. Breakfast was not really tasty.

Sensational view of the bay from our rooms. The best infinity pool we’ve ever come across. Great breakfasts delivered to you room. Helpful friendly staff

Stairs

Excellent balcony with gorgeous views, friendly and accommodating housekeeping staff. Room layout is great, space is well used. Outdoor space (balcony) with a locked door doubled as extra space. Concierge is very helpful. Good AC and ceiling fans to keep cool. Beautiful lush green grounds. A warning to those who may have mobility issues: access to the lobby from the road requires walking up a steep ramp. Rooms are further up the hill, accessible via a ramp and steep stairs. This setup provides each room with gorgeous views but may pose a challenge to those who have mobility issues.

Beds are uncomfortable, we felt the springs. Pillows are too soft. No hooks for towels in the bathroom. Breakfast is repetitive for longer stays. Sliding doors do not operate well.

3 good restaurants in the vicinity. Service staff were customer oriented and helpful.

Long walk to town centre ... the distance indicated on the booking site is misleading. Reception was a timber hut that looked temporary. The steps up to the room were very poorly designed and built with risers that were too high for comfort and lacking proper handrails in places. They were actually a safety hazard. The walk up to reception was a slope that felt slippery when wet. Breakfast came without beverages. Many mosquitoes too as the property is surrounded by vegetation. Overall I feel I can get better value for the same price.
