Elang Hillside Bamboo Villas

Stunning Location, Wonderful Stay The setting and views here are truly spectacular. The staff were consistently helpful, and service was quick throughout our stay. The food was excellent, and breakfast each morning was a delicious way to start the day. Our bamboo villa was spotless and comfortable. Although the resort is close to the airport, we found this was never a disturbance. The highlight for us was watching the sunset over the sea and neighboring island from our balcony, which felt like a slice of paradise. The pool also has a beautiful outlook, making it a lovely spot to unwind into the evening while watching the birds and bats fly past. We would definitely stay here again and happily recommend it to others.

Bamboo style accommodation, view. Staff’s super friendliness

We were in room 7, so climbing up the stairs was at times a bit strenuous

Great view from our room. Breakfast served on our front porch was decadent and delicious. Airport pick-up easy and smooth. Service outstanding. Liked have a cabin with two separate bedrooms/bathrooms -- it gave us privacy but allowed us to easily hang with our friends.

Music from town was a bit loud at times. Avoid the last room on top of the hill as view is mostly blocked by vegetation. Massage (extra cost of course) was so-so at best.

Amazing view to Komodo islands and the ocean. Close location to town and the airport. Attentive, responsive, helpful and friendly staff. Tasty food. Good service (food, massage, laundry) in the villa. Very comfortable bed. We had minor issues with our stay and after pointing them out, the staff immediately corrected them.

We stayed in late September and it seemed that it should had been a restaurant at the pool but actually it was closed (could have been nice to have fresh cocktails at the pool site). The amenities were in in-somewhat-okey condition - the towels were not as fresh, pool towels had holes in them, bed sheets were clean but had stains on them, smelly shower gel.
