Zena and Tim are lovely hosts, the breakfast keep you going all day, they are very accommodating in requests for breakfasts. The area is good for walkers, sightseeing and eating.
We arrived on a very hot day, only a small window to let in breeze, found the fan 3 days later under the bed!, room was small, problem with warmth of water, which was eventually sorted but was then so hot, bathroom not the cleanest, and no daily housekeeping done in the rooms.

Zena (host) was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and the view from our table each morning was an added bonus. Location from the village great and free on street parking fantastic.

We stayed here as it’s close to the starting point for the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. It’s a lovely little Bed and Breakfast with very friendly and accommodating hosts. Takeaway breakfasts are available for early risers who want to tackle the nearby peaks. We thought this was a very nice touch, thanks again Zena! 👍

The breakfast was very good
The bed very comfortable
The ensuite was very small with nowhere for our toiletries there was a wooden thing beside the toilet for toilet paper but to use the toilet it had to be moved
Room very dusty being broken could do with some new furniture especially armchairs
Bad cracks in the ensuite and the floor was off not good for anyone with menieres disease
