Nice and decent room suitable for short stopover.

Nice to find when traveling near Liege, had main facilities for family stopover, great host communication, had a kitchenette, and sofa bed was also new and comfortable.

They want the kids to not make noise so recommended for family with older kids, since located adjacent to church need to know to park at Church and to keep a bit quiet.

Lovely and unique property. The rooms were spacious and very family friendly!

Keys were easily accessible-were present on the doors.

It would have been nice to have been told where to park on arrival. The property is near a church and a school- we were nervous to park in an incorrect space.

Good for an overnight but make sure you know who to

Veronique was very welcoming and checked we had everything we needed. The room had everything for an overnight stay for 2 people. Parking was easy and close by.

We arrived just before dark, entered the building to find no-one and no instructions on how to find our room or get access, only 2 closed doors, one had a sign ‘private’ and the other said ‘David’???. I sent a message to the host via Booking.com but no response. I went up the stairs hoping to find someone and discovered a door with a sign with my first initial and my middle name and the key stuck in the door. So we assumed this must be our room. The host responded to my message 3 hours later and did apologise for not seeing my message. The room was spacious and well planned but the lighting was very poor and therefore the room was very dark. I had to use my phone light to find things in my suitcase and to figure out the microwave buttons.

A quiet place to stay in the Condroz

The building is located in a quiet little village; we had a very quiet stay here. The one-bedroom cottage is the smallest and cheapest accommodation, but all the basics are there: fridge, microwave, cooking plates, Senseo machine, water boiler, basic kitchen utensils, tourist information and leaflets. The host was a very friendly woman. There are some tables and chairs in the garden to relax.

We had a view on the street, I would have preferred the accomodation with view on the garden, but I must admit we had nice sunsets in the evening. There is a minor problem with the leaking shower door (but an extra towel will fix). The kitchenette is for simple cooking only.

Steps away from Huy, Seraing & Liege

Le Presbytere is a unique place. It's located in a quiet village uphill from Engis (and in between Huy and Liege). They did a really great job of converting the place for accommodations. The room came equipped with a kitchenette with stovetop, fridge and microwave oven. The bed was very comfortable. The only downside is in our room the microwave was making a buzzing sound during the night so I didn't sleep that well :( (I'm a light sleeper) It was in the "La Forge" room. Although I must send a very special thanks to the host whom was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely place but not for light sleepers

Veronique, the host, was lovely, very friendly and helpful during our stay. She welcomed us with no problem on the first day and the apartment was very clean, well equipped and quite large. There were a few nice walks directly from the property but most you needed to drive to.

The main problem for me was that the bedroom was on a main village road so as a light sleeper I found this really difficult. There was also a low humming of the pipes t and the bells from the church next door hat kept me awake. In the end we had to move the sofabed to living room so I could get some sleep. It's a shame as we went to the countryside to get some peace but in the end was a bit noisy.

Nous avions réservé 3 jours pour passer le réveillon de Noël en famille. A notre arrivée, pas la moindre petite attention par rapport à la période dans le logement ( petite guirlande ou autre décoration)...soit.... mais pire, lorsque nous arrivons , le thermostat était réglé à 13 degrés . Bon , nous espérons que l'appartement va vite se réchauffer, nous mettons le thermostat à 20... on attend, on attend.. gelés.. puis je sens le radiateur : la moitié ne chauffe pas.. certainement pas purgé ( idem pour la salle de bain et une des 2 chambres). Bref, nous avons passé le réveillon de Noël en gros pull et sous la couette... on a été vite se coucher !!!!!!!!

Le calme et la nature. Très spacieux et agréable. On a passé un super week-end entre amis.

Mooi groot appartement, waar we met 5 personen prima konden slapen.

De slaapbank is wat smal voor 2 personen maar is nog te doen.
