Sparta Luxury Villa

The wow factor of the staircase and the pool and pool bar. The driveway has its own postcode it’s that big. Very nice location just a 2-3 minute drive away from the main road or 5 minutes away from Fig Tree Bay. Easy to navigate so apart from finding the villa at night we managed to follow the instructions sent by the management company Imagine. Maybe a decent sized name board at the front of the villa. Good management company and from what I could see one of the biggest in that area.

More utensils and general equipment, as a seasoned villa renter, it’s nice to have anything unopened left in the kitchen for the next family who rent it to get a head start. Basic things that don’t cost a lot, sugar, salt and pepper, a few spices left in a spice rack, it makes the difference. Pool area could do with some small improvements around the corner edges and the smaller tiles on the inside were missing or cracked on the shallow end. I’m sure if I had mentioned it they would have sorted it. But I didn’t want my holiday disturbed by workers everywhere. Beautiful villa just needs to be test driven by someone that isn’t paying before they rent it out to customers. I booked this villa for 12 nights at a cost of just under £8000 so over €9000 euros so not the cheapest but the 7 bedrooms could be used for 2-4 families cutting the overall cost, I used it just for my family but it was for a family wedding so I pushed the boat out and did it for my daughter and my son inlaw.

The pool area is fantastic and the pool is maintained extremely well. People come out every two/three days to treat the water etc. The bedrooms are a very good sizes as are the bathrooms. You do need to hire a car while at the villa, the best beach in Cyprus, Fig Tree Bay is a 7mile drive and the Lidl supermarket is based there as well. A big supermarket/town centre is 10 minute drive. The water park is approximately a 15mins drive. We hired a five seater for €180 for six days. Well worth the money! If you want to go into the resort it costs €20 one way. I would highly recommend the restaurant Molti, one of the best meals we have ever had and will definitely be going back there!

The appliances are old and dated. Half of the dishwasher had to be taken out for it to work. The fridge doesn’t have any door storage and the bottom draw was broken. The tumble dryer start button was broken but this was replaced within two days of us mentioning it. The safe wouldn’t open so they had to send out maintenance to gain access. Last put not least there were quite a few lighting fixtures that either didn’t have bulbs or they needed replacing. This sounds like a lot of issues but they are just minor niggles that effected our stay but overall the villa is spot on.
