Nice and modern hotel by the beach but not value for money

- Location was great very near to the beach - Seaview at the balcony - water was hot and pressure level was good at shower - Fredo cold coffee with ice cream was excellent - Room was big and refrlgerator & kitchen was more than sufficient

- we stayed at the first floor but since we are under the roof we can not have breakfast & dinner at the balcony at July due to hot - housekeepers skipped our room 1-2 days during our stay of 5 days. Also note that towels changed every 2 days - bed and pillows are not the best in terms or comfort but they were so so.

First class accommodation and staff

Very pleasant staff, good layout in the hotel. Host is accommodating and welcoming. Great view. Very clean.

Nothing major, just to note. Plates in the kitchenette are good quality and very large. They are heavy and tricky to wash or use. I was worried to break them, especially with kids using them. The suggestion is to have lighter porcelan plates and a little smaller.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was extremely kind and friendly, making us feel welcome from the very beginning. We even received a lovely complimentary gift upon check-in, which was a nice surprise. The hotel met all of our expectations – the room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the best parts was the location – the beach is less than a minute away, which was perfect for us. The free parking was also a huge plus and very convenient. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

We enjoyed our stay! The staff was very kind and they cleaned our room everyday! The area was quite and if you wished to go somewhere more busy, it was 10 mins walk to restaurants and many more activities for kids. We definitely recommend it and most certainly we are planning to visit again!

The sea and the view of the mountains are delightful, amazing, wonderful!!!!!!!!!!! I liked it all!

Liked everything! Hospitable host! We had a small room, but how thoughtful and space-wise everything in it was. Everything we needed was there. The view from the window was of the mountains and the neighboring hotel and it was lovely too as there is a lawn and a palm tree and it was nice to look at. Rooms overlooking the sea were spacious and well and the view was amazing (I had a visit in this room). The bathroom is very comfortable and the balcony is spacious and easy to use. The little things are well thought out. The rooms are clean and the housekeeping is great. The layout of the hotel is well thought out and comfortable, and the corridors, lobby, lawn, and tables were user-friendly. The sea view from the bar and lobby is just eye-catching. Own beach 2 min. Umbrella, 2 sun loungers, chair, and table. The waiters will serve you delicious treats from the bar. Ice cream, drinks, cocktails, and snacks straight to the beach. Dressing room, and street showers. Breakfast can be ordered separately from the host. I advise you to do it at least once, as it is also a work of art. The coffee is one of the best cappuccinos!!!! Lika the bartender is a soul and professional, an exceptional human thanks!!! Pancakes, snacks, cocktails, all at a very high level. Cleanliness, aesthetics. The location is super. Two supermarkets and a stop to Thessaloniki are a walk in 5-7 minutes. There are numerous restaurants and tavernas with Greek and seafood. On the right side of the hotel, there is Mario's taverna, a cuisine which we really liked. If you want to feel like a local, I advise a restaurant for locals, which is located on the highway to Asprovalta, to the right of the bus stop. There is a bar to the left of the entrance hotel where they make delicious cocktails. Near the hotel is the departure point for the sightseeing train, which will travel throughout the town. The shops with classic tourist tinsel are not far away. There are children's arcades right outside the hotel.

Nothing. if you need cash, you have to go to Asprovalta, the ATM is only there. But it's 20 minutes and you're there, a walk along the sea and extra entertainment on the way will only make you happy. There are a few companies where you can rent a car and drive to nearby Kavala. But only a mechanic is available, an automatic only in Thessaloniki.

Great place

Let me start by complementing Christos, the host. He was very responsive to our needs and always available. The room in which we staid was very spacious. It could handle two adults and 2 children and it had a very nice view to the sea. It was equipped with every thing you needed. In the morning we also had available breakfast, if we wanted, on the premises, so we did not need to go somewhere else. Parking is available free of charge. If you want something cozy and very close to the beach, than Amalia Mare Rooms is the place to stay.

We did not get to taste the Ice Cream because we left before it arrived. Will give it a try next time we come :)
