Good and well cleaned hotel

we didn't expect so much but this a great place to stay in HCM. the location is near the tourist spots, the place is clean, has complete essentials that every travelers need. they even allowed us to drop off our luggage earlier than our check in time. highly recommended, will book again next time <3

I booked 2 of these rooms for 4 nights each. The rooms were cheap for their size but I would not stay in them again. I had room ***. My friend had room ***. Each time you walk in or out of the hotel, IF there is anyone at the reception desk they never even look up to acknowledge you. Trying to lock my room door from the outside is about a 5 minute ordeal because if you don’t pull really hard on the door handle to make the door latch it will never lock. And then the lock itself is stuffed and you need to turn it atleast 20-50 times while pulling hard on it to hopefully get it to lock!!!!. Unlocking only takes about 5 turns. When you are inside the room it sort of works a bit better. When we first walked in we considered leaving straight away as my room smelt very mouldy and there was a heap of black mould in my bathroom where some sort of water was dripping through the ceiling and splashing on to the toilet but I had already paid for them so I probably would have lost my money if we just left. So we decided to give it a go. The rooms are big with big balconies but there is paint and plaster falling off of the walls. Electrical wires just hanging out of the bathroom wall. Shower water temperature was basically cold. The bed, tv and fridge were ok. Furniture old but I didn’t use the cupboards. We just handled it all for the time there, but then on our last night while we were out it had a bit of rain ( not too much) and when I got back to have an early night because we had to leave hotel at 5am to fly out, my room was flooded from the balcony all of the way to the front door where my bags were. Luckily the suitcase was waterproof but my back pack and stuff in it and my clothes on the floor all got soaked. Once I moved my stuff out of the puddle I waited for about 30 minutes before someone actually turned up at the reception desk and then the young guy did come up and mop up the mess for me thankfully. Now I understand why my room smelt so musty and mouldy. My friends room was not quite as bad as mine and did not flood that night. Maybe their cheaper standard rooms are a better quality room since they probably get used more often. I thought that by booking there bigger rooms with balcony for a few extra dollars a night would be better but maybe not. I havnt seen inside of their cheaper standard rooms.

Stayed here before when it was named the Yaya - It had shocking reviews before and nothing has changed except the name. Wifi was terrible at the back of the hotel and very very noisy from it being attached to a kitchen of the building next door. I moved to a front balcony room, the room itself was okay and comfortable until about 8pm or so then the live band started from the bar two units away. Absolutely terrible experience, It sounded like the useless band were in the room. I think it stopped about 1 or 2am. Impossible to sleep or even listen to the TV. I had a booking in July which has been cancelled - avoid at all costs
