Very nice

This is a clean and fully equipped apartment. Check in was very easy and the view is great.

I don’t think it is easy to access the area with public transportation, we went with car only.

comfortable, spacious living area. Very easy check in and out. Good parking. Nice location. Kitchen had everything we needed.

Toilet in one of the bathrooms didn't flush well. Curtains in one of the bedrooms had stains. Hot water in one of the showers was sometimes cold.

Our stay was great just.bit far from Leiden but we were aware of that’sd took bus 50 every day.

Looks like it was recently renovated. Very clean and large property for a one bedroom with a nice marina view.

The toilet was down the hallway. Not sure why there was not a Devi d toilet in the bedroom ensuite.

Clean and lovely view but too noisy and far from amenities if you don’t have a car.

Spacious, clean, lovely view over marina. Local town 15 mins walk has a nice cafe - The Old School.

Not a great location if you don’t have a car. Have to take a bus to go anywhere. Bus stop is not nearby. No bike rental nearby. When contacting the resort help desk by email on where to find the bike rental they sent us off on a wild goose chase to a non existent bike shop in Warmond. Flat is very nice but is in an echoey building. People start to move about outside leaving their flats from 6am onwards - there are notices outside for people to be quiet between 10 pm and 8am. But they are not. Bedrooms face the outside corridors so it is noisy if people are walking about outside. Take earplugs. No problem at night - it’s peaceful. The problem is being woken up early in the morning. On one morning cleaners started in the flat above us at 7am, hoovering and banging & chatting. They didn’t even close the front door whilst they cleaned! It was very noisy - not somewhere you can have a lie in.

We were comfortable and had a good stay

View, size of living room, clean and new kitchen

Pillows in the bed were lumpy. There were very few cooking utensils (only one for stirring, frying etc). A frying spatula is needed and a couple more stirring spoons and and a serving spoon

Pleasant

Location is on an industrial estate but that's better than it sounds; the building is facing out onto a marina which is a lovely view. The noise from the nearby railway and other appartments was not intrusive. There is plenty parking in the dedicated lot immediately across the road. There are some lovely walks very close through Warmond village or through Kagerzoom Park. It's only 10 minute drive to Leiden which I would recommend anyone to visit.

It was quite expensive all considered. You have written advice to cook with the door open and the ventilation on to avoid the alarm going off. There's written warnings about how sensitive the fire alarm system is. Presumably that's why they don't have a toaster. Or a hairdryer. TV didn't work. It wasn't tuned in to any chanels and wouldn't despite my repeated efforts. I emailed rental valley, (the managers) about fixing this; but they didn't reply. So I read my book. Which to be fair, was more relaxing than watching the news.

If you have noisy people in the apartment next to you, you can hear them clearly, but signage is clear that noise has to stop at 10pm so too disturbance shouldn’t occur.

Despite some problems I would go there for another time.

Location is Great, the accommodation is between Leiden and Amsterdam. It is cozy, nice, calm place with picturesque surroundings. I strongly recommend this place especially if you have a car (in our case we rented a car). The flat is big with nice view. There are all the necessities you wish except hairdryer (that made me confused).

Despite of this fact that overall I really liked the place, there are peculiarities that shocked me, one face towel was absolutely padded. I can't image host leave it to us. This made me so angry with host. Also pillow was tangled and very uncomfortable. Curtains in one bedroom was very spotted (blood?). If host pay attention to these problems, the accommodation will be superb.

Gives what it promises

The apartment was well maintained. The apartment was exactly what was shared in the images and the customer support was also on point.

There is no direct public transport from the airport to the location so if the resort can share the details and common mistakes that could be made while travelling then it would be really helpful for a tourist.

Good for a longer stay

It is a simple apartment that is perfectly suited for a short stay / self catering visit. The apartment is clean and spacious. The location is ok if you are driving yourself (there is ample parking). Train station 'Warmond' has free parking if you do want to use public transport (e.g.) for a trip to Amsterdam. I would recommend this apartment (and might come back myself as well) if you need a 5 day plus stay in the area and have your own transport.

The drainage in the shower is poor - I used a squeezy and towel dam to prevent flooding of the bathroom. The washing machine was used a few times by me just to dry the towels. Another concern are the matrasses - they seem ready for a replacement. I would have included a second toilet in the bathroom, during construction (personal preference). Now the bathroom is separate.

Ideal

The location was perfect, there is the bus stop which is only a 10 minute walk away and has good transport links for when you don’t want to drive somewhere (we caught the number 50 bus to Sassenheim station then the train direct to Amsterdam as apparently the parking is expensive) There is a large car park on-site. The rooms were nice and spacious and it was nice to have plates/cups etc in the kitchen. If you are bored in the evening there is a bowling alley a 5 minute walk away with an adjacent restaurant if you don’t fancy cooking.

The only thing I didn’t like was the check in, I had put an arrival time of 4-5pm and it said someone will meet you at the property to give you the keys. When I arrived at 4pm there was no one around and no information/reception desk, we managed to find a lady who advised we should of received an email to tell us what room we was meant to be staying in and she called the host for us and provided us with a key. About an hour later we received an email with the room number (different to the one we was in) and how to collect the keys.

Excellent value for money if you don't need to be downtown and would return.

We arrived to Netherlands in lockdown and the apartment was perfect. It is very clean which we really appreciated. The kitchen well appointed - had everything we needed. It is quite far from downtown Leiden but in exchange we got a lovely view of the harbour as well as peace and quiet. Lovely little village to stroll through and some trails to take small walks.

I wouldn't have minded sharper knives and a couple more frying pans. Other than that, it was just perfect.

Good

The layout of the apartment and the view.

The internet wifi signal was so poor where a decent table was available (because of distance). The person responsible for the apt did not do anything about it for 3 weeks, just buying time about a potential extender to be installed. Really careless approach.

A spacious apartment in a pleasant neighborhood with a view on marina and canal

Nicely situated apartment, silent neighborhood, a view on marina. I recommend to rent a sloop (boat) from a nearby company which allows to sail through beautiful canals to Leiden and beyond.

TV was not connected. Kitchen was without any proper knife to cut cheese or meat. Our hostess promised to fix both problems but then she forgot and we were not contacted anymore till end of our stay. Also no electric plugs near beds makes an overnight phone charging problematic.

Die Wohnung war groß und gut ausgestattet. Sie war sehr sauber; mit Ausnahme der Dusche im Master. Wir konnten aber gut das kleine Bad im Flur nutzen. Betten und Handtücher waren einladend hergerichtet. Auch die Couch.

Auf dem Balkon standen noch defekte Sonnensessel und an zahlreichen Stellen waren Wände beschmutzt. Ein Anstrich hätte da viel bewirkt. Im Kinderzimmer fehlte im Schrank eine Schublade. Sie war zwar nicht gebraucht, doch trägt diese Optik nicht zu einem hochwertigen Gesamtbild bei.
