Incredible property and very happy family holiday

Incredible property with all the amenities you need and more. Very comfortable stay and clean. The pictures don’t do the property justice it really is so pretty and very quiet. We were able to visit lots of lovely places, such as the castle De Haar, delft, Leiden and go for lovely walks. Beds are very comfy and the property has everything you need. Very thoughtful additions such as board games and dvds. The sliding doors at the back of the property that double up as a whole glass window panel so you can view the garden is stunning. We watched thunderstorms and heavy rain for a few evenings and it was beautiful. One of the best properties we’ve stayed in.

Nice house in quiet area

Quiet location approximately 6 km from Leiden. Easy access to motorway system - Schipol airport 20 minutes, Amsterdam park and ride 30 minutes way. Host in contact by messaging and flexible about our arrival time. Beds comfortable with plenty of storage space and always plenty of hot water. The garden was sunny, with lawn, well sized patio, table and four chairs for dining as well as 2 chairs and sofa for lounging. A fair bit of wildlife in garden including some pheasants. Good wifi that worked in all areas of the house. Large bathroom with plenty of surfaces and a good shower. No disturbance from the neighbouring houses and small mooring area nearby for views of boats and waterway. Approximately 700 m or 10 minutes walk away was the Jachthaven-Brasserie Vennemeer which served drinks and or food - service and food very good as was the Eetcafé de Vergulde Vos in nearby Rijpwetering (7 minutes by car or 3.6 km). Nearest supermarket 2.5 km or others in Leiden.

The non fan electric oven was a bit smokey when used. There was a TV but could only be used via chrome cast so it depends on what you have with you. Whilst there were two sleeping areas only one true bedroom. The second sleeping area was an open mezzanine area with one single bed and an second single mattress for the floor. The area was limited by the desk and provided access from the stairs to the other bedroom. Like much of this area of the Netherlands it was under the Schipol flight path so some disturbance in and out of house from regular airplanes.

Una hermosa casa en un lindo vecindario de Leiden, Definitivamente un lugar acogedor cuidando cada detalle, casi como estar en casa. Casa con una recámara, una pequeña área donde se pone otra cama, afuera de la recámara, sin privacidad. Una enorme sala, comedor, una cocina grande y dos baños. Un jardín grande y hermoso. Con un canal para navegar en la parte de atrás, con lanchas y patos.

Definitivamente tienes que tener auto, a menos que quieras pasar la mayor parte del tiempo en la casa, está a 30 minutos por autopista de Amsterdam, Roterdam y La Haya. Aunque tambien es un punto central. Los supermercados están como a 10 minutos. Realmente vale la pena, pero es importante tener auto.

Wir hatten ein paar wunderbare Tage und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Sehr ruhig gelegen direkt an einem kleinen Hafen. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und toll angelegt. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Die Vermieter waren stets erreichbar.

Es gibt nur ein Schlafzimmer mit Tür, die anderen Betten waren auf einer offenen Galerie. Das ging, war uns vorher nur nicht bewusst.

Top Lage und Ausstattung

Liebevoll und sehr hochwertig eingerichtet. Eher wie bei Freunden als gemietet. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Einzig die Schlafsituation ist etwas ungünstig. Der Schreibtisch neben den Kinderbetten unnötig. Die Matratzen im Elternbett sind durchgelegen.

Maison au calme avec un magnifique jardin

Petite maison très bien placée dans en endroit super calme. la maison est très bien équipée, le jardin est très agréable et très bien entretenu. L'accès au canal juste derrière est aussi un grand plus pour faire des petites balades.
