Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay by IHG

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great location, very clean and comfortable room, and a really good breakfast with plenty of options. The hotel was a perfect base for exploring Singapore, with many attractions and restaurants easily accessible from the area. Everything was well maintained, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole stay was smooth and enjoyable.

Room was small but nice. The bed was comfortable. The location was good and in walking distance to Clarke Quay. The hotel had a rooftop pool that was nice and clean

The bathroom was quite cramped. I would have liked some milk in the fridge and some more coffee (and better coffee). The buffet breakfast was overcrowded, not enough tables, not enough plates and cutlery, not enough food. There is no onsite restaurant to order coffee or a something to eat

Overall, my stay was average, but several areas need improvement: The gym is very small and has limited equipment. The swimming pool closes at 10:00 PM, which is quite early for guests who want to use it after dinner. The room size is extremely small and feels cramped. The breakfast menu is almost the same every day, with very little variety. The breakfast dishes are not labelled to indicate whether they contain beef, pork, or chicken. Proper food labelling would help guests with dietary restrictions and personal or religious preferences. I hope the hotel considers these improvements to enhance the guest experience.
