Very good location

CAN’T RECOMMEND ENOUGH! Our room was big, spacious, and comfortable and the en suite was great too. We slept really well every night. For the price it’s an exceptional location! The shared bathroom for other guests also looked nice and spacious. The apartment is in a lovely location, near the basilica of San Giovanni. There’s a bus stop basically right outside, and the metro is around a 10 min walk away. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the colosseum and we would also get the bus or metro to the center (driving past major sites like the Roman Forum!) which was always pleasant with mostly local Italians on their daily commute. There’s a wine bar (Enoteca) about a minute away which we went to every night for €6 aperols (!) and a Carrefour down the street. The owner was lovely and gave us recommendations for places to eat and visit across Rome. + when we first got there, we had an issue with the WiFi and Emilia sorted it right away! If you want an amazing price for a lovely room in a welcoming and well-located neighborhood of Rome then stay here!

I really liked the fact that there was everything we needed, even the kettle, plates, everything, also we had two bathrooms which is so great

It was a bit cold at night, but it is just a personal thing

Location if great, right next to a bus stop straight to the best parts of Rome and in a part of the city with great restaurants nearby.

The room had a fully functional AC unit but you have to pay 10 euro a night for the privilege of turning it on. If there was no AC that would be fine, but up-selling it is gross. The accomodations were old but fine enough, though decidedly less good than expected for the cost. This aligned more with a 60-70 euro a night stay.
