The owners are lovely people and enjoyed connecting with us and clearly want their guesthouse to be successful. Our home cooked breakfasts were very good. The room is very spacious. We were a little cold and were provided with a space heater.
The room was not completely ready for us; we had to ask for towels and toilet paper and were only given a tiny bit of toilet paper.

Location of the property is very good.
There is no services. Plus the rooms are at the 3rd floor with no lifts and even no service.

After traveling for four months, my partner and I finally found a home away from home in this family-run guesthouse.
Located close to the city centre in a quiet neighborhood, it offers a much-needed respite from the bustle of Jaipur.
The owners, Smitha and Manoj, a charming and cultured couple, made our stay truly special, they provided us with enriching conversations and a deep insight into India and its culture.
Manoj kindly took us to explore Jaipur, patiently guiding us and explaining every detail. Both of them were always there to say something kind, check on us daily, and engage in enriching cultural exchanges that we deeply appreciated.
Their kindness and willingness to help made us feel safe and understood in such a diverse country.
Every detail is carefully taken care of, from the beautiful antiques that decorate the house to the delicious cuisine prepared by Smitha, a nutritionist and former teacher, who ensures every meal is healthy and flavorful. They also offer cooking classes, yoga sessions, and other activities.
The staff is attentive, and the house is always well-maintained, radiating warmth and dedication.
If you are looking for a place to rest, feel safe, and enjoy a welcoming atmosphere, this is the perfect place. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean.
We are very grateful for the opportunity to have met this wonderful family and their beautiful home.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of getting sick upon arrival. Not anything I caught there but from earlier travels. I was taken care of really well. I could ask for anything I needed. They helped me get the right medicine. Got me fresh fruit and cooked me food that I could handle. Very comfortable room to stay in for a couple of days and mostly sleep. Extended my stay from 3 to 6 nights.
The owner also helped me book a bus ticket and sought that I continued safely on my next journey.
WiFi was working well most of the time.
Staff doesn’t speak English, but the owner and his wife speak English very well. So there was never any issue communicating.

The place was quiet. The room was small with 2 beds, 1 twin bed, 1 standard double.
The owners not being pragmatic!
First of all, there is no location on google maps. I could get directions via booking directions only. When I was calling the owner for 5 times, he did not answer as the phone was landline and he was 300 kms away for several days.
Secondly, there is an attendant who does not speak any English at all! He does not understand words as blanket, towel, breakfast. If he could learn some words as wait, stay, sit, come, that would be much better. In addition, it is 21st century. Owners can give him a phone and show how to use microphone with google translator.
Thirdly, the gate is closed in the evening. But which hour, God knows. The first night I came around 2-3 o'clock at night, as I was invited to a wedding and had to bang the gates for 5 minutes in order to bring someone downstairs to open the door. The next day we came with my friend around 21:00 and guess what? The door was locked again! We banged again and after 5 minutes someone came to open the door. 21st century and there is no bell :)
Finally, the home owner, Mr.Majul (if I remember his name correctly) is THE WORST guest house owner and manager I have ever seen. He made my friend to wake up at 1:00 AM to show his identity as it was against some laws to register at one place and stay at another place. I argued with them for 1 hour at least for their inhospitable behavior, however he did not care about it and was ready to call police because I did not want to wake my friend at 1 o'clock at night! Awful experience!

The selection for breakfast was perfect, I enjoyed delicious omelette , brown toast With real butter and lashings of good tea. We had breakfast on the patio listening to the birds singing and watching them in the garden trees. A very peaceful haven.

The host was exception in terms of welcoming us. He helped us get cabs for our tours. He also provided valuable inputs about the local culture and tradition.

Jamás me habĂa pasado algo asĂ!
