    We loved it!
We loved this place! The view was breathtaking and we could walk to Ravello on foot (if you don't mind the steps uphill!) and enjoy the little garden. The host was a lovely lady who was very kind and helpful.
The road is a little narrow to drive, but it's totally worth it!

A mesmerizing stay in the lemon tree paradise 🍋
This property is a little gem hidden away in the mountain, providing great privacy and a quiet night’s sleep. The host Anna is super friendly and attentive, tending to your every need. (Along with her family of 5+ cats and one dog!) The cherry on top of the cake is the stunning view of Amalfi, seen from both the bedroom window and the breakfast balcony.
I find it difficult to write anything negative about this property. The accessibility isn’t the easiest (like any part of Italy) but with google maps and a moped/car, it is quite easy.

I genuinely don’t understand the overly positive reviews of this place — it’s baffling. The location is remote, unattractive, and especially inconvenient if you’re arriving by car. The room was clean and of reasonable size, but that’s about the only positive thing I can say. The furniture is old and worn, and the mattress was incredibly uncomfortable. However, the worst part by far was the owner’s attitude — rude, unprofessional, and completely dismissive. I had booked a double room for one person (photo attached), but he put me in a room with three beds (one queen and one twin) and insisted that, because I was alone, I had to sleep in the small bed. If I wanted to use the larger bed, I’d have to pay more. To drive the point home, he explicitly told me he wouldn’t even bother putting sheets on the queen bed. When I expressed concern, he simply told me I could leave if I didn’t like it. I chose not to argue, as he seemed unpleasant and confrontational. I’m a tall person, and the small bed was directly under the air conditioner — I ended up catching a cold. In short, this place was a disappointment on every level. Poor location, outdated facilities, and an owner who clearly has no interest in hospitality. Definitely not recommended.

The majestic Amalfi Coast and the real Italian experience La Dolce Vita
Valerio and Anna incredible hosts . Kind generous and caring . The incredible view over looking the terrace gardens, down to the ocean, with the majestic mountains across the valley. The walks full of lemons, cherry, fig trees, garden plots of all the vegetables you can imagine , the intense fragrance of the night air. Lavender, rosemary, lemons . The crystal clear night skies, stars and the moon . The lights of the villas and homes twinkling and glowing down the mountain side. I absolutely loved this place and the area. Breakfast with Anna’s own honey from her hives, and her homemade preserves, fresh pastries, delicious fruit and yoghurt, coffee tea . Valerio smiling ,helpful service. Also he speaks excellent English. Ravello was beautiful not too busy with tourists like the intensely overcrowded Amalfi Coast. Try staying up here and enjoy the area . Go upto Scala there still using donkeys and there’s a lot of the old world Italy existing there . Don’t try to catch the bus to Ravello after 10am and the rest of the day. It’s just not worth the hassle. There’s more than enough to do around this area. I didn’t have transport and I am 69 and managed the steps, yes there are quite a few !! to reach Ravello but you take it slowly stop and listen and look at the life around you. Always someone in the gardens? Sweeping the pathway . Again the view and the walk along the path experiencing the real Italian life is priceless . I highly recommend the beautiful and poetic Il Rifugio Del Poeta . The father of Valerio and husband and of Anna was a famous local Poet. If you have a car you can reach it easily, yes narrow road but is fine . We are in Amalfi . A small amount of steps maybe 20 to reach the house. Reach out to Valerio if you are using public transport he was kind enough to pick me up drop me off. Very generous man.

    :)
glorious view. host picked me.up from the bus stop and allowed me to check in very early and even provided me with snacks and coffee on the day of check in. I had to leave quite earlier and he packed me a bag of snacks because I missed breakfast that day! it was relaxing and I enjoyed the family orientated stay!
