We loved this place! The view was breathtaking and we could walk to Ravello on foot (if you don't mind the steps uphill!) and enjoy the little garden. The host was a lovely lady who was very kind and helpful.
The road is a little narrow to drive, but it's totally worth it!

Lovely view and wonderful service

This property is a little gem hidden away in the mountain, providing great privacy and a quiet night’s sleep. The host Anna is super friendly and attentive, tending to your every need. (Along with her family of 5+ cats and one dog!) The cherry on top of the cake is the stunning view of Amalfi, seen from both the bedroom window and the breakfast balcony.
I find it difficult to write anything negative about this property. The accessibility isn’t the easiest (like any part of Italy) but with google maps and a moped/car, it is quite easy.

I genuinely don’t understand the overly positive reviews of this place — it’s baffling. The location is remote, unattractive, and especially inconvenient if you’re arriving by car. The room was clean and of reasonable size, but that’s about the only positive thing I can say. The furniture is old and worn, and the mattress was incredibly uncomfortable.
However, the worst part by far was the owner’s attitude — rude, unprofessional, and completely dismissive. I had booked a double room for one person (photo attached), but he put me in a room with three beds (one queen and one twin) and insisted that, because I was alone, I had to sleep in the small bed. If I wanted to use the larger bed, I’d have to pay more. To drive the point home, he explicitly told me he wouldn’t even bother putting sheets on the queen bed. When I expressed concern, he simply told me I could leave if I didn’t like it.
I chose not to argue, as he seemed unpleasant and confrontational. I’m a tall person, and the small bed was directly under the air conditioner — I ended up catching a cold.
In short, this place was a disappointment on every level. Poor location, outdated facilities, and an owner who clearly has no interest in hospitality. Definitely not recommended.

Valerio and Anna incredible hosts . Kind generous and caring . The incredible view over looking the terrace gardens, down to the ocean, with the majestic mountains across the valley. The walks full of lemons, cherry, fig trees, garden plots of all the vegetables you can imagine , the intense fragrance of the night air. Lavender, rosemary, lemons . The crystal clear night skies, stars and the moon . The lights of the villas and homes twinkling and glowing down the mountain side.
I absolutely loved this place and the area.
Breakfast with Anna’s own honey from her hives, and her homemade preserves, fresh pastries, delicious fruit and yoghurt, coffee tea . Valerio smiling ,helpful service. Also he speaks excellent English.
Ravello was beautiful not too busy with tourists like the intensely overcrowded Amalfi Coast. Try staying up here and enjoy the area . Go upto Scala there still using donkeys and there’s a lot of the old world Italy existing there . Don’t try to catch the bus to Ravello after 10am and the rest of the day. It’s just not worth the hassle. There’s more than enough to do around this area.
I didn’t have transport and I am 69 and managed the steps, yes there are quite a few !! to reach Ravello but you take it slowly stop and listen and look at the life around you. Always someone in the gardens? Sweeping the pathway . Again the view and the walk along the path experiencing the real Italian life is priceless . I highly recommend the beautiful and poetic Il Rifugio Del Poeta . The father of Valerio and husband and of Anna was a famous local Poet.
If you have a car you can reach it easily, yes narrow road but is fine . We are in Amalfi . A small amount of steps maybe 20 to reach the house.
Reach out to Valerio if you are using public transport he was kind enough to pick me up drop me off. Very generous man.

glorious view.
host picked me.up from the bus stop and allowed me to check in very early and even provided me with snacks and coffee on the day of check in. I had to leave quite earlier and he packed me a bag of snacks because I missed breakfast that day!
it was relaxing and I enjoyed the family orientated stay!

A very inaccessible home
Too many stairs. Impossible to get to it. Very remote. No eating places nearby. It was my fault I didn't research properly but when i realised my mistake, I cancelled my stay and requested a partial refund. Host even refused that!

Valerio and his mother were very friendly and welcoming! I felt right at home. Breakfast was excellent (pastries, coffee, tea, homemade jams, yogurt, fruit, juice) with an amazing view from the terrace. So peaceful!
The garden and adorable dog and cats were so sweet. The walk to town has a decent amount of stairs but it’s beautiful.
Ravello is a nice town, not too busy, everyone is formerly and helpful. The square had children playing and people hanging around, very charming and safe feeling.

Incredible view from our lovely balcony. This place has a very welcoming feel to it with a lovely hostess with limited English. Communication was fine and I loved her cute little dog. Room very comfy and delicious cakes for breakfast

In case you are keen on experience authentic old style Italian living, exceptional views and lots of stairs, this is Your place. The landlord is an old sweet lady, who knows a bit of English. The breakfast is offered in her house and is the typical Italian. Lovely experience for anyone with an open mind. The concert hall can be seen from the terass up on the hill.

Unbelievable view from an over-sized terrace. Ana, the host and owner, is the nicest woman. Her breakfast could sate football teams, and she couldn’t be kinder.

The view from the house is amazing and the hosts are very welcome
The approach and arrival to the house was very difficult and challenging without signage we reached a dead end rod and rural dirt path. No Access with a regular car. It's highly recommend to arrive only to arrive only in daylight long before dark. They're relatively many stairs up to the House itself.to find the house we had to ask the owner to come and accompany us - it should be noted that he was very nice and kind

The road to reach the BB is VERY BAD and dangerous.

this host was amazing, she didn’t speak any English so we used Google translate a lot but she was very kind! she made us an amazing breakfast even though we couldn’t stay long in the morning and we even asked her if she had a washer machine and offered to do our laundry for us! She had a lot of cats and a dog which were all very friendly and cute as well.
even though we read the reviews about how walking there was difficult, we didn’t realize how difficult it truly was. All stairs down and back up, in the heat of summer was very challenging. No ac as well so very hot in the room.

The view is just amazing.

Absolutely stunning! We went for a beautiful hike up to the Villa Cimbrone Gardens from this B&B. We also enjoyed sitting on the terrace for much of the time. It was fascinating to watch the mules walk down the stairs to pick up lemons and walk them back to the main road (morning). It was a pleasure talking to our hostess! She treated us to a wonderful breakfast, everything was homemade or home grown. I even asked to purchase a couple jars of her home made marmalade...it was so fresh! Next time I'll make sure to book several nights (instead of just one) to enjoy more of this beautiful place!
The road to this B&B is very narrow, most of it wide enough for ONE car. The road was actually closed about 200 meters before getting to our destination, that's where we should have parked. That information was not communicated to us. We drove through anyway because my Google maps showed that the road continued and looped back to the main road...it doesn't! We were lucky to squeeze our car through the blocked area TWICE without issue, but I recommend that you avoid driving through because it's very dangerous! I hope the road is fixed soon!

Amazing host and cooked a delicious cake for breakfast for us. The view is fantastic and we really enjoyed doing the hike on the pedestrian road towards the house.
The bed had a squeaky sound, but not a big deal.

The host was absolutely wonderful, and provided a simple but lovely breakfast, complete with our own home made baked cake! The only downside; it is a 30 minute walk from Ravello main centre, so just be aware to buy any wine or food you would like to enjoy on the balcony before you get there :)
The location is the only downside; it is beautiful itself but quite a walk from Ravello. It does have a wonderful view and balcony, so just make sure you bring anything you need first!

Zéér smalle straat in doodlopende weg.
