Even though it might seem far from the city center, there is a bus stop just a 2 minute walk away that takes you downtown very quickly, so public transport is not an issue at all. The neighborhood is very quiet, peaceful, and felt completely safe, even late at night for two female friends traveling alone.

The location was good with Lidl and Aldi close by. Guests are allowed to cook meals in the kitchen which is quite large. Budapest Kelenfold train station close by to as is bus and metro. It was quite social with a lovely mix of nationalities and ages.
Only one shower with toilet and another toilet around the corner which was not enough for the amount of people there. The hostel is pretty dirty as well. Outside is very run down with empty beer bottles and cans just lying around. The bed sheets didn’t appear clean either!
