Absolutely amazing will be back.

The property was exceptional! We stayed in the studio. It was very clean, warm and cosy on arrival. I didn’t need to contact the staff as I didn’t need anything. Very peaceful location for a nice relaxing night away. The horses are a bonus! Board games included for a fun night with friends , family or partner! Would love to come back again.

Brilliant weekend stay once again

Immaculately clean and cosy lodges, perfect for getting the girls together for a long overdue catch up. And the hosts, well they are the very best of the best ! As for the beds... easily the best sleep I've ever had away from home. Absolutely worth staying here !!

Lovely lodge with beautiful memories to take back with us

The cozy lodge just made the stay perfect. We were right next to the little park for kids which was amazing as we didn’t need to go far to keep kids entertained

Excellent stay at Wellsfield. Ideal for catch up with friends. Seamless booking and check-in arrangements. The lodge was very warm, comfortable and very well equipped.

Pleasant stay but given the cooler weather, heating needs to stay on to keep the chalet warm:

Next to a road with road noise during the night. Chalet was cold on arrival and heating could only be set for 2 hours at a time.

Beautiful lodge - will definitely be back

This is one of the nicest lodges we have ever stayed in. Couldn’t have been easier to book. Upon arriving we could just drive straight up to our lodge. Everything has had so much thought put into it, all amenities you could think of, they have it covered. We booked for my husband’s birthday - he loved it just as much as the kids did. Was a perfect getaway for us. Thank you so much

Not enough lighting. Floor very sticky. Lodge is too small for 4 adults. Heater off every 2hrs. Kitchen appliances are limited.

A fab spot!

Everything! The lodge was brilliant, finished to a high standard. Comfy furniture and beds. Strong shower. Lodge itself warmed up easily when needed. Tea/coffee/sugar/milk/ketchup/washing liquid supplied. As well as shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Kids play park was a hit with our 2 & 4 year old. Short drive to services/shops/takeaway. Will definitely stay again.

There honestly wasn't anything to fault with our lodge, and if I had to nitpick it was that there was no oven tray (that I could find). So only one very small thing. But it had zero impact on our stay, we improvised.

Lovely place, worth to visit

Lodge was very comfortable, clean and well equiped. Lots of natural lite coming in, lovely decorations around the lodge. Shame we have only stayed for one night. Definetely we will come back in the future. We have booked horse riding for our daughter and she enjoyed it a lot.

Nice and comfortable place, good for kids.

We liked the cottage, it was spacious and convenient, in a good position, 12 min from the center of Stirling, surrounded by green fields with horses. The parking just next to cottage, very convenient. All the welcoming information was provided. The place was well equipped. Very good for families with kids.

Wifi was quite bad, we recommend to fix it. Also, no towel holders in the bathroom, seems like they were broken.

Excellent place to stay for a few days or even longer!

The lodge was fully equipped for an easy stay right down to cleaning products, washing tablets and condiments. It was also very clean. Everything you might forget it was there! Fully equipped for a longer stay than we were having. The best bit was very much the setting! We were fortunate to lovely weather whilst we were there and got the most beautiful sunset. I would definitely recommend!

Clean and cosy. Newly refurbished bathroom pleasant. We thought the setting was great and the play area is fantastic!

All good. Suggestion: Maybe a few hot chocolate sachets for your younger visitors would be a good addition to the plentiful tea and coffee?

Gorgeous farm property with quaint lodges

The size was great- plenty of room for the whole family. Everything you need to avoid dining out every meal while away from home. The property was amazing, with views of the horses and meadows. My kids loved the play area and spent a lot of time out there away from screens :)

Great as always

We have stayed many times. Always comfortable and clean cottages. Friendly staff. Thank you Tony for arranging a birthday party for my daughter who turned 21. Cottage was too warm due to heatwave. Tony braught a fan. Lots of midges so opening windows in summer is a problem, but we improvised a net to keep them away and this cooled the cottage down a lot. We missed Henry during this stay. Hope my daughter's nightgown gets found she put in her pillowcase out of habbit.

A perfect family holiday

Great location, good sized lodges which were really clean and well maintained. Very comfy bed and lovely travel cot and bedding for the baby. Lovely park for children. Grassy areas great to play on. Would definitely return with extended family next time.

The only thing (very very minor) I’d suggest is more sharp knives in the kitchen. We only had a bread knife which made cooking a little tricky.

It is very easy to find, great facilities and the lodges are beautiful. We were celebrating my niece's birthday and we had a fabulous time. We will definitely be back!

Fandabidozi!!!

Kids loved the park and the equestrian centre next door and went for a horse outing, the older guys went fishing at the ponds above the lodges and we got a small discount on the equipment. Also went to the safari park for the day and it was in a great position for visiting many nearby attractions.

Lovely - from the lodge to watching horses to family archery tournaments and soccer matches - lovely

The playground area was amazing! It was such a highlight for our kids and we had so much fun! Kids got to play with some other kids and also just decompress after so much sightseeing. And just having the horses all around was so peaceful.

Only thing we didn’t love was having to use the key to lock and unlock the doors from the inside. If there was an emergency like a fire then you’d need to get the key and struggle with unlocking door to exit (cause it always took us a couple tries to unlock it), versus when you just unlock a switch on door and can leave. Literally the only thing we didn’t love cause this was a great stay!

Had a great time: the equestrian staff were fabulous with the grandchildren we had with us.

Clean, location near Denny where we wanted to be. Equestrian element on site. Able to BBQ. Grass was nicely cut so kids could run around. We were blessed with good weather.

The TV received news notifications about the Iran/Israeli conflict during the night which woke us up. On the third night I unplugged the TV to put a stop to this. The shower head was not secure and fell/twisted down under gravity making the shower a very poor experience. (No bath) The play area no longer had the ‘bouncing pillow’ that the children had previously loved. We used portable BBQs which was fine on the flags provided. However it would have a much better experience if the stone surface was raised on bricks so we weren’t cooking kneeling on the grass. Also during our stay on our last day: we saw another lodge access a proper BBQ from a store shed: we didn’t know this was an option. No coffee maker/cafetière provided.

With a little upgrading it would be a lovely place to stay

First impressions were good - Instructions were clear and access was easy. On entry it all looked very nice. Living area was good with good quality settees and a TV, table and chairs. There was a microwave which we used and a dishwasher which we didn't use

There were no instructions for the cooker and we struggled to get it working. The shower looked good but water temperature not consistent. The beds were poor quality and were very noisy when even moving only a little and had no support, so none of us slept well and the double one had very little room to get around it.
